Humph... Well we went here for lunch on our day off and everything started out Great!! Lil did we know it was gonna go down... hill and fast???????? . The first thing was the waitress took my appetizer order and no one else's?????????????????????????????????(we was all gettin appetizers tho) so of course mine came out first then everyone else had toorder there's because she didn't ask anyone else at the time she took my order. Once everyone placed their order for appetizersand entrée, it was like noone could get refills. Two of my co-workers ordered frozen margaritas and they both said the drinkswas trash????????. When the waitresses finally brought our food out one of the plates had a long red hair on it????????. Shewas immediately told and took it back to the kitchen (with attitude) ,my other coworker ordered, what was suppose to be steaknachos (which was just hamburger???????????) no steak at all definitely not worth what it cost, the potatoe soup was very saltyso my other co worker had that sent back, the last thing was the pick 4 that was ordered had extremely small portions and my coworker had that send back. Needless to say it was a very bad experience. There was a manager there from Georgetown,Ky who saidhe was helping out and he did try to fix things. However, we won't be going back there. We came in earlier today and had dinner, I ordered the chef appetizer combo, and my friend ordered a steak with loaded mashed... potatoes and some asparagus, both meals were perfect.our waiter was paul he was awesome, we didn't have to ask for anything, hewas right there when our glasses were empty bringing us refills. Sadly today was my last day of ever eating at O'Charley's. A couple of reasons. 1) Look at the picture of the house salad.... They literally gave me 1 slice of cucumber and 2 slices of tomatoes and a billion croutons. 2) I only go for the loaded potatosoup and after one bite I almost gagged. The soup tasted like Lysol fell in the batch of potatoes. I thought, nah, I lovetheir potato soup so maybe I had some ranch in my mouth, so I took one more bite and same results. I told my waitress and sheinformed me that O'Charley's changes the recipe and now uses a powdered cheese instead of real cheese. She said they getcomplaints across the entire company about the change. So that did it for me, I finished my salad, did one walk through andkicked the dirt off my shoes at the door. I placed an order tonight for the chicken strip & ribs family meal with fries and broccoli. As soon as I started pulling stuff... out of the bag I realized my fries were missing so I called them and they said they would refund my fries. I had glanced in thecontainer with the ribs quickly before placing the call to see if the fries were there but after hanging up the phone andplating my child's food, I realized there was no barbecue on the ribs (I asked for Carolina gold) and ON TOP OF THAT to mysurprise there was a long piece of plastic that was stuck to the ribs. I thought it was part of the ribs at first but when myhusband got home, he pulled it out of the container and asked me why there was plastic in there. He was already mad at the otherissues so this was the final straw. I honestly couldn't believe it. I've eaten at this location at least a dozen times in thepast and never have I experienced anything this bad. The quality has definitely been going down over the last year or so butthis was next level. I hate to say it but I won't be eating here again. Read more
Got here late so only got takeout but the food was very basic. Service was a bit slow and they didn't know their menu. If you... want cheap food to sit down for this is a decent place. If you're in a hurry or want better service then this ain't it. Wish Icould say better since it's my first time but this is getting 6 out of 10 deportations for not hitting the restaurant experienceon the mark. Read more
I had the chicken tender dinner with fries and salad and my son had the 3 piece chicken tender dinner with a baked potato off of... the kids menu. I was surprised to find that they now up charge you (I believe it was $2 more) if you want one of your sides tobe a salad. You would think that a bowl of lettuce would be one of their lowest cost items to serve. The food was average,nothing was terrible but then again nothing was great either. Our server was terrible. We had to wait for her foreverything. She never asked if we needed refills, more bread, or anything else. She was basically a ghost! I finally had to flagher down and get her attention to get her to bring me my check and a to go box. Read more
Had the best service tonight. Rue was an amazing waitress. My strawberry lemonade was great. My husband and I both got steak... dinners. He got the filet and I the Louisiana sirloin. Both tasted great. Sides were fresh and hot. Rolls were the perfecttemperature . We would definitely come back after service like tonight. Read more
This place seems to be hit & miss with orders. We've ordered several times for delivery. The first few times were great. The... second to last we got rock hard rolls that we just threw away. This last time was the very last time we will order from there.We received a different type of french fries than ever before. They were crinkle cut, dripping in grease and disgusting.
