Food was fine but service at this location (downtown Lexington) sucks. They were out of coleslaw so instead of ordering a meal I... ordered 4 strips and my daughter a 3 finger meal with hot sauce packets instead of Cane sauce. They refused to give me Canesauce for my 4 strips. Stated since I didn't order a meal I had to purchase it (even though my daughter didn't get any)Whatever. I paid for it and went on my merry way. I was a little unsure what to eat in Lexington on this trip, thought I might have rather went to a local spot, but I'm really... glad I gave this chain a try! I now like their chicken better than anything I can get back home. I had to wait 15 minutes for mytaxi driver to get back on the highway before I could start eating, and the chicken was still so juicy it dripped down my chinwhen I took a bite! Pictured is the Caniac combo, with six chicken strips, lots of crinkle cut fries, slaw, toast, and two cupsof sauce. I was impressed that they actually include enough sauce for all six chicken strips and most of the fries, and it'struly one of the best dipping sauces I've ever had for chicken (and copycat recipes are easy to find online if they're not localto you!). If you ask for ketchup it comes in nice dip packets too! It was a little more expensive than I thought it'd be at $18,but very well worth it because I was stuffed lmao. My nieces and I made a quick stop to try something new. We order two chicken finger kids meal and a 3PC Fingers meal. The... chicken tasted fresh and the fries tasted like fries lol. Now, I highly recommend eating your chicken fingers with the Canesauce because that is where the flavor is...in the sauce! Sauce is kindof like a tangy garlic and not spicy at all. This place was amazing! The chicken was juicy the batter was great even if it fell off. And the fries were awesome and there?s... toast!!!I love a good crinkle cut fry! Plus they have chipped ice. And the raising cane sauce was great, I don?t know why you?dwanna dip this chicken in anything else-and you really don?t even need to dip this juicy delicious chicken.
