We came at 1:00 on a Sunday and were seated immediately. Service was prompt. We waited ~10 min for our food. It was all great.

I was told that I HAVE to get a Hot Brown in Kentucky and HAVE to go to Ramsey's in Lexington! I sat at the bar and really wish... I had gotten the bartender's name because she was so sweet and nice. I learned a Hot Brown has ham, bacon and turkey which meansmodifications when you don't eat pork. I went with the vegetarian version with turkey which was so good ???? I even liked thezucchini which like never happens. I asked why it's called a Hot Brown since it's more white than brown and learned the dish wascreated at the Brown Hotel (that makes sense). They also have great fries ???? And I ordered a Black Bottom Banana Pie. It wasreally flavorful but a bit dry, the portion size is really big so it became bfast the next day. Read more

Chicken was very good!! Macaroni could have stood a tad bit of seasoning but it was the cheesiest. I wanted collard greens but... they only had kale????Corn was good but the cornbread, I could have done without, no taste at all. Menu need to be updated. Theysell food that are not on the menu, you just have to ask. But overall, I recommend Ramsey?s on Harrodsburg Rd. Read more

This has been one of my favorite places to eat for over two decades. Delicious local (whenever possible) southern comfort food... and tasty drinks. A must try if you haven't already! Read more

My wife and I drove to Ramsey's Diner at the recommendation of our Bed & Breakfast hostess. Even though it was Sunday afternoon... around 3pm, the restaurant was pretty full. We ordered a hamburger with fries, and the Southern Style Catfish with mac & cheeseand fried green tomatoes. The food was delicious overall, especially the corn fritter hush puppy item which came with thecatfish and the creamed corn. Our server was very gracious and brought us a small plate of creamed corn just to try, since itwas our first time at Ramsey's. When we realized the mac & cheese was not good and asked her if we could switch it with anotherplate of creamed corn, she took care of our request immediately. We left feeling very full and my only regret is that we don'thave one closer to Louisville! Read more

Long standing, well-established diner in the Lexington area. I had the veggie plate which consists of your choice of four... veggies, from a wide selection, with two cornbread sticks("real" butter instead of margarine, would've been a much tastieroption for the corn sticks.) The creamed corn is yummy. The entryway, dining area and restrooms could definitely use aspruce-up. Overall, good comfort food, with tasty coconut cream pie. Read more
