Went with a work group and I'll tell ya the food was absolutely amazing. We just ordered lost of appetizers and shared with the... group. Everything we ate was amazing. The food was extremely authentic to Japanese cuisine. Will definitely be going back andmore often. Don't sleep on this place as prices were good for the food, average around 8-13$ depending. Food is five star. Fresh and perfectly seasoned. Service was a bit hit or miss, but nothing too bad. I also thought the place... was very noisy. Of course, that has more to do with the customers at any given time. Still, I wonder if playing some soothingJapanese music would bring the volume down a bit. Excellent meal. I will be back. This is an authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi restaurant. I lived in Japan for 20 years, and I have eaten in many sushi... restaurants there. Tachibana had a great variety on their menu. We really loved the sushi menu especially the negi-toro roll (definitely the... favorite of the night). We also got the salmon carpaccio as an appetizer which was different from what other Japanese restaurantin the area served. Theirs has cheese on it which was unique and delicious. The entrees selection was also plentiful. I had avariety set (more traditional style Japanese bento) and it was very filling but a touch too expensive in my opinion. My husbandhad the sukiyaki which he could not finish because we over ordered as per usual. Unfortunately, we left our sukiyaki in a to-gocontainer on the table and we called to come back and get it 15 minutes after but they already threw it out. They were alsoreally busy for a Monday night so the sushi came out after the entree which was a little odd. The staff was really nice. We?llbe back to try other things. Read more

Tachibana is great traditional Japanese food with cool atmosphere. From what I hear, Tachibana first opened it's doors in the... 80's when the Toyota factory was established, as a traditional Japanese style eatery, to serve the Japanese workers and theirfamilies who came to open the factory. Their menu is extensive and the servers know the menu well and are happy to explain anyfood items. The food is wonderful and there is always something new to try. They offer a great daily special menu as well.Tachibana is in an awesomely designed wooden building tucked away on a side street.
