Food was dry it looked old and it tasted like it had been sitting for a while.. Drive-through was a little faster this time but ... no utensils no straw and no napkins in the bag and didn't even say thank you Never again boardwalk location when 100% better inpresentation manners and they gave you tensils. .. I was heading across town to an old classic car cruise-in Friday night and stopped to get a few gallons of gas. The guy filling... up on the other side of the gas pump ask about my 1963 F100 truck. And, he told me about the cruise-in at Taco Tico on SouthlandDr. So, I drove in, parked, and looked at the other classic cars parked in the back parking lot. There were probably a dozencars and some friendly people there to talk to. Thanks Taco Tico for providing a place where we could gather to show our oldjalopies. Read more
I ordered two chicken soft tacos at about 1:45p on a Saturday. The chicken was dried out, some of it hard. Most restaurants have... an expiration on how long the food is good for, just not sure it was applied yesterday. Normally the chicken is pretty good andtender. Was disappointed this visit. Read more
Taco Tico is one of my favorite restaurants, and has a lot of childhood memories attached. Since the one in Louisville closed,... I'd been missing it...and making the drive to Lexington was worth the trip! Great location, very nice and the food was awesome. Will make the trip again! Read more
review for drive thru only ...... I have bragged on store since opening,but have only eaten inside. Last night decided to do a... drive thru. 2 taco salads , deluxe enchilada and 2 margaritas . Well...... got home salads had no sauce , enchiladas had nosauce,green onions,cheese etc on top ,like normally. Not worth the money. Ordered a Taco salad substitute beef for chicken. Disappointed. Paid almost 13 dollars for a shell of... lettuce and beans. I had 7 tiny pieces of chicken. This is my 2nd time at Taco Tico in the past few months disappointedagain. Don't waste your time or money. Read more
One of my favorite fast food stops in Lexington. Took my son last night for the first time and he loved their beef and cheese... nachos. I always get the crunchy chicken tacos and beans and cheese. They always use much fresher ingredients than other fastfood taco chains. Read more
