Arancini was decent. The rest…. Bleh. Bolognese was dry with noodles almost glued together, veal was rubbery, Brussels were... overly cooked and drowning in spices. Calamari was small, more breaded pickles than seafood. The staff served a $70 bottle ofChianti in white wine glasses. The staff knew it was our son’s 11 year-old birthday— they brought out his meal last, about10 minutes after ours were brought out. He was disappointed and we ate cold dinners. Not sure how the overall stars are sohigh, but we felt tricked by them. Worst $600 spent on a dinner in a looong time. Read more
Very disappointing and won’t be back. 1st our waitress was fine but assigned to many tables. The eggplant parm came out cold... and when asked to be reheated cam out the same temperature. The manager gave us “but….” Then they add $10 appreciationfee for the cooks. Seriously? Don’t ask us to pay your wages. Read more
I've tried this place several times, I really have, but its just consistently awful. Especially for the extremely high prices. A... house sangria that tastes like bitter water, cheese plate that has almost no cheese, and baked fish in a bitter vegetable broth.All terrible. I know some people in Lexington swear by this place, but I have no idea whats wrong with them. Go to Burlingtonif you can. Read more
Food was delicious! Prices seemed a little high for how casual the ambience was (especially outside on metal blue tables) but... everything was great - INCREDIBLE arancini. Though the servers were loudly moving around lots of tables next to us in the middleof our dinner which was a bit distracting, but nothing we could've done about that. Read more
Disappointed again. Time to stop trying this restaurant that could be so good. But the food isn’t even average. For the 2nd... time we had pasta that wasn’t fully cooked. Not talking about al dente. the pasta was only about 3/4 done. Bartender was nice.But this place is really expensive and the food is really not good. Read more
I enjoy food..... A lot. I can add I own a winery, restaurant and wedding venue, and I'm fortunate to have a brilliant Chef in... the family and also one that worked for me. I have to say the food prepared tonight was done perfect. But what surprised memost..... And you can laugh, but as an appetizer I ordered meatballs. There's a lot of really bad meatballs out there butwithout a doubt these are the best ones I've ever had, and the sauce was perfect. For an entree I had veal which was sauteedprefect. Sometimes we lose appreciation for some of the simple things until they are prepared perfectly as was what I enjoyedtonight. Kudos to the Chef, staff and owners. A truly enjoyable meal . The food is overpriced and the waiters are dressed unprofessionally. The food itself is also not anything special. DO NOT GET... THE OCTOPUS! It is way to salty and it looks like it was just thrown together. The calamari is ok. The pasta doesn’t have muchflavor. The bread is under proofed. The kitchen is unsanitary the chefs aren’t wearing hair nets. In addition I saw one waiterpick something off a plate and throw it to the ground then lick her fingers. Disgusting. Read more
This has been the second time I have been here, and all I can say is that the food and service were excellent. The servers at... the bar were extremely friendly and professional, and the clientele and atmosphere were welcoming. I will definitely be comingback with friends next time! Thank you! Read more
