I ended up with a free meal. Scrambled eggs were a chopped up omelette. The 2nd try was at least yellow. We had to ask for... sauces and gravy that went with meals. I have never heard the words ,"I'm sorry" so much in my life. I also ended up with theworst reflux that night and we were there from 2pm -3pm. The potato casserole was very good. Read more

I like the decor, the service was good, but I wasn't really feeling the food. Besides their Loaded Hashbrown Casserole... Tots,which was delicious, everything else was near average or very slightly below. This was my first visit to Cracker Barrel, and I wasn?t sure what to expect. My date had been many times and it?s one of his... favorite places for a comforting, casual meal. I wasn?t disappointed! Everything was really good, I got the country boybreakfast with sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly. Every bite was delicious. The hashbrown casserole was so good, too! Ithink it was my second favorite on my plate. I sipped on an orange mimosa and it wasn?t lacking anything. The service waslovely, everyone working was very friendly and that?s always great to experience. Our server was attentive and made our visitespecially pleasant. Where do I start!!! It was absolutely the worst visit I've ever had at cracker barrel. We called ahead to say we were coming... with 20 people and they said sorry but they don't take reservations. So we ended up waiting 30 minutes or more. We finally getin and we're seated at 2 tables side by side. The waitresses came to both tables at the same time to get drink and appetizerorders. Our waitress brought our drinks and a basket of biscuits. The other table didn't get anything. She came back 10 minuteslater with our appetizers and second basket of biscuits. Still the other table didn't even have their drinks. Finally theirwaitress starts to walk buy and they stop her to complain. It still takes several minutes before they get drinks. We got ourfood and to go boxes before the other table could eat. My niece got a grilled cheese plate and it was burnt black. Manager tookit back and even took it off the ticket, he did bring another one. I had what was suppose to be chicken and dumplings, I think Ifound 3 tiny pieces of chicken. Our waitress didn't bother to ask who was paying for what so she put it all on one ticket. Thecashier said she couldn't separate it and had to get a manager to help her. It was an awful experience.
