Haven't had Godfathers pizza since I was a kid (almost 30 years ago). It was just as good if not better than I remembered, the... sauce and toppings down to the crust was perfect. My only ding is that they don't bring your pizza out in the pan but rather inthe pizza box. Still all in all a great pizza any day of the week. Read more
It has been decades since I ate at Godfather's Pizza. The ones we had in Charlotte have been long gone. So when traveling... through Lexington I had to stop and see if it is still as good as I remember. The short answer is yes. We had the Classic Comboon original crust. Awesome. Stacked with so much meat and cheese that two slices of the large will fill you up. The staff isextremely friendly and professional. The kitchen is ultra clean. I wish we had a Godfather's Pizza back in Charlotte. For nowI'll have to stop by when traveling through Lexington. Yes, it's that good..Stop at Godfather's for a meal when travelingthrough Lexington. RELIVING A MEMORY. The Godfather's chain used to be in my hometown of Raleigh NC, had not seen one in THIRTY YEARS. Came across... this store and had to try it. The chain has made some modifications over the years, but the pizza is still heavy on the toppingsand more heavy on the mozarella. It was wonderful. Read more
We had gotten two big jumbo pizzas.We are a big family so our total was 53? plus they also give military discounts. Alittle bit... always helps, hardly no grease on the pizza which is also a plus cus some pizza have a lot rolling off it. I would Recommendthis place to anybody on a very great pizza! Read more
Godfathers Pizza did not let me down! The Taco pizza I ordered was phenomenal. There were plenty of toppings and the crust was... light and airy, all combined to give me PLENTY of flavor. Definitely going back soon! Read more
My family and I visited today from Charlotte for the first time. We all enjoyed our pizza it was delicious. I have heard such... great reviews from family and friends who have visited previously. The wings were the only thing that I?d probably pass on thenext time. I prefer my wings a little crispier. I would love to try their taco pizza next go round. They had the best customerservice I have experienced in a long time. The restaurant was nice and clean. I felt comfortable dining in their restaurant withmy family. We will definitely be back again. It's been a long time since I've seen a Godfather's Pizza...it was buffet style then. Now you order at the counter & they bring... it to you. There are 3 types of crust to choose from, and I wanted the butter crust, but it doesn't come in the mini size. Thebutter crust has a crisper, less dense feel than original crust. I really like the sauce. It's got a bold tomatoey flavorwithout being sweet. Cheese was nice & stretchy. Good experience! Read more
The young lady at the counter with the bright beautiful smile welcomed us in right away. They got to work on our order and it... came out faster than expected and as delicious as expected. Both of the young ladies were very personable and super helpful!Customer service was TOP NOTCH! Yes there is a Godfather's pizza in Charlotte now, but this one is ALWAYS ALWAYS worth the drivefor me!
