Never dined in but great takeout! Only complaint is they do not give sauce (soy, duck or mustard) unless you ask. I'm so used... to my takeout always being bagged with plenty of sauces without having to ask. I forget to ask. It would be nice if the persongiving you your take would ask. Understand the the cost of doing business has gotten so high that businesses need to find waysto cut cost without cutting service or quality of food. And not putting excessive amounts of the sauces with takeout is a greatway to lower costs. But please ask your customer if they want / need the sauces! Read more
Our family is fairly new to Lexington and we finally decided to try to find our go-to take out Chinese place. After researching... several places in Lex and surrounding areas (Tyro, Denton, Thomasville, ect ) we thought we would try this location firstbecause of the reviews and is the closest to us. I'm excited to say, we lucked out on the first try! We have found our go-toChinese takeout. We have lived in various cities/states over the years and have had some good Chinese takeout, however, this isthe best we have had in a long time. We ordered online through their website and it was so easy. The only issue was I didn't geta confirmation email or text despite putting in my information. Luckily, they got my order and it was ready by the time I gotthere which was nice! The lady that handed me my order was very nice. I live in rural Lexington and because of the way theypackage the food to go (which is the best I've seen) our food was still hot by the time we got home. The portions were enoughfor us to have tons of leftovers. This time around we tried their Orange Chicken which had great flavor and generously coated insauce. Chicken and Broccoli which is my husband and daughters favorite, both said it was the best they ever had. Black pepperchicken cooked to perfection. Pork Fried Rice, chicken lo mein and white rice was all good. We also tried their spring rollswhich were just okay. They were almost bland compared to the rest of the food. Guess I just came on a good day or it's just us Americans takes things different but in no way IMO were they rude. We were... hungry, so we tried a lot! Crab Rangoon, garlic chicken, Mongolian beef, hunan beef etc. I love Chinese, especially authenticand most fast food is far from that but this was delicious. Only complaint was the house lo mein only had one size and it waskinda small for $10. That being said, it was tasty and unlike most, I didn't have to add soy sauce. Oh and egg rolls were onpoint. Have to say I was upset with Panda Panda. My daughter called our order in for takeout and was told it would be ready in 15... minutes. When we got there to pick it up the young man said he didn't have it at all. We had to wait an additional 10 minutesfor them to prepare our food. No apology, no discount nothing. The food was delicious but I can't, unfortunately, say I will gothere again. I almost feel bad because this place is really close to me and they do have great food but the service needs somework. Used to be GREAT... but owners/employees are RUDE, and the food is sub-par at best. On my final trip here, they forgot half my... order... and when I told them about it, they rudely demanded that I bring the food back in so they could SEARCH MY FOOD. 20minutes it took them to "decide" I deserved the dishes I had paid for. We went today for the second time and I have to say that I am very impressed with everything we have had. The fried dumplings... are wonderful. The crispy scallion chicken is very good. We will be back soon to try more. Read more
Very clean restaurant. You order off the menu rather than buffet style food. My Hunan beef arrived fresh and steaming hot. Spicy... but not too spicy. Very reasonable prices-at the time of this review, $8.15 for the combo special which included choice of soupwith eggroll, fried wantons, fried rice and the main course. With the generous portions, a buffet isn?t missed. Staff was veryattentive and polite. We will be back the next time we travel through this area! Read more
This is top-notch Chinese food! We stop here just about every week as one of our main dinners. We typically take out; and let me... tell you, that food stays hot until we get home (about 15 minutes away!) The food is always delectable! The vegetables havebeen fresh and crisp since we began frequenting the place! The staff are extremely personable and helpful. They are quick andefficient, as well.
