I absolutely love Mexican food. BUT this place WAS NOT it. It was recommended by a foodie group on social media so I decided to... give it a try. My shrimp tacos were soggy and tasteless, my rice was chewy, and I didn't dare try the beans. Only thing that wasgood was my Pina Colada which had 14% alcohol tax and 9% tax on my food. Try to tell my waiter but he claim to speak no English. Will not go back. Read more

Delicious food at very reasonable prices. I love the bean dip versus the normal salsa dip you get elsewhere. The Carnitas... dinner was perfectly prepared. I will be back!!! Read more

Really love this place. The staff is so friendly!! I got the jalapeño bacon fajitas and they were really good. I will say my... only draw back is the portion size. While it's plenty, their competitors give me so much food that I have lunch for the nextday. The prices are about the same as other places Read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My 4 year old son and I came in for dinner but decided to get it to go after waiting almost 30 minutes to... order. When the food came out I noticed the tax rate was 9%. When I asked the server about the taxes he went to get the owner toexplain. The owner offered no explanation. He literally did not say anything. Instead he handed me a letter from Better BusinessBureau. The letter was notifying him of a complaint from another customer about the taxes. After several failed minutes oftrying to get an explanation I decided to just pay the bill as it was not worth the argument. As I paying, the owner approachedme again and asked my name. When I refused to tell him my name, he challenged me to a fight in the parking lot WHILE MY 4 YEAROLD SON WAS STANDING BESIDE ME! I was completely blown away! Not only will I never go back but i hope they get shut down! I evenfound out later than he got into and argument with a friend of mine and threatened to punch him in the face. Someday he is goingto challenge someone that has nothing to lose Read more

I needed a good quick Mexican meal yesterday and decided on Brothers and Beer in Lexington. I love Mexican but like light meat... dishes best. This establishment has liquidly refied beans as a chip dip (which was good) but also has a salsa bar if you wantedsomething else. I ordered a chlli relleno and vegetable enchiladas which both sounded good. I missed my call on these dishes asthe vegetable enchilada was sweet and didn’t have a good taste. The cheese on it and the chili relleno were too thick withthick stringiness and no flavor. The chili relleno had cheese and meat sauce inside but didn’t have a great taste either. Imay have ordered the wrong things as they have a heavy meat menu that might be better. I hope the meat dishes are much tastier. Read more

We had a pleasant dining experience. We were seated quickly and the servers were very attentive to all of our needs. I’m not a... big fan of bean dip in general, but my husband and daughter were fanatical about it. The setting was pleasant and clean, including bathrooms. The food was good. The salsa bar was cute, however, I didn’t care for the taste of any of the varietiesthey offered… I thought it was a little bland. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and would come again. Read more

Extremely clean, hospitable, fresh food. And when we went they were able to make a custom San Diego style order… kind of... sporty, while maintaining the Mexican accent to the decor. Very good place to hang. Read more

Stopped for lunch with 3 people. Service was excellent and anticipated your needs. I had shrimp tacos which were a bit messy... but tasty. Order size is plentiful for the hungry. Chips and salsa bar along with bean was great. If you like horchata, it'sthe best I've ever had. Worth the stop. Read more
