Sat at the restaurant for over 15 minutes until we finally got our order taken. Fast forward 1 hr we still had not received food... and when we finally asked we were told they were still working on it. Order was two BLT sandwiches and two turkey sandwiches. We got our ticket in less than 3 minutes and still had to wait 15 more minutes for our order since we asked them to make it togo. So in total 1 hr and 30 minutes for a to go order. Read more
Food was great! But they need a better system in place for dining in. It took 25 minutes for us to get acknowledged even after... asking if we're supposed to order at the register or sit & wait for a server. Took another 15 minutes to get our drinks & westill had to ask for them, again. Read more
We love Groucho?s Deli, and we have visited many of them, but this is the best of all. The largest one we have been in by almost... double. Friendly staff and fast service. And of course the delicious Groucho?s menu. Everything is consistently good. Theparking can be difficult during busy times, so you might want to try the municipal lot across the street. My first time at Groucho's, and I liked my food - I got a lightened-up "white moose" (turkey & swiss) that came with a pickle... and pretzels. But it seemed to take forever. I walked in to get an order to go and I think the kitchen was backed up with tonsof called-ahead orders. It's a fun, casual place with a big dining room, but overall, I just wasn't that impressed. Groucho?s of Lexington seems to be a favorite local hang out for many groups of people and especially for our family. In all... truthfulness, it?s not my top choice (not saying it?s not good because it?s okay.), but it seems anytime we?re thinking aboutgoing to a restaurant close to home, my wife and teenage daughters always seem to bring up Groucho?s. Our family of four willtypically order one of the many sandwiches or one of the varieties of salads. I?ve never had anything that was not fresh andtasty. On any given visit, the patrons of this casual restaurant will include the young, the old, and everything in between.His often do you have sports teams band members, businessmen, and just teenagers hanging out. Same as it always was back in the salad days of my youth and the old school Five Points shop with cranky Ivan and a steady... rotation of co-eds. Thus was and still is my triple play go-to sandwich, with that signature dipping sauce, tucked under ablanket of melted cheese. Oh, and it's got to be the sweetest tea around. Read more
Superb BLT. Old school setting with very interesting potato salad. It's in tiny cubes! Very distinctive taste. The founder has... an interesting back story. The crew was friendly and food was on point. Read more
Food is great. Fresh and tasty. Booth seating is horrible. Very uncomfortable. Mens bathroom is NASTY. Dried urine on the... toilet and flooor. I might come back again. Read more
