I ordered a bowl of chicken and dumplings and a meal with chicken and dumplings. When I got home and opened the bag I had two... half cups of dumplings. This is ridiculous! They charged me $5.99 for the bowl (half a cup) of dumplings and $10.99 for thedinner. I want go back again! When I called to complain she said they were out of the bowls and the manager told them they couldnot fill the cups to the top only fill it half way. Read more
Service was fantastic. We were seated quickly. Food came out hot and didn't take an unreasonable amount of time for the 5... dishes we had. The small plate is perfect for a older child or somone like myself who doesn't much but wants something otherthan chicken nuggets off a kids menu. My family enjoyed the banana pudding. I grew up eating at this restaurant ( anotherlocation that has closed). My taste buds have changed. This isn't as good as it once was, but it's hot and restaurant has ahome feel. I ordered two(2) biscuits at this location and way very dissatisfied. #1did not received a receipt, #2 the same employee that... works the cash register handled my biscuits with her bare hands #3 half way ???? I noticed the biscuits were hard so I droveback to lizard to speak with the manager on duty and explained my visit, #4 the manager asked if I wanted a replacement my replywas that I wanted a refund, #5 since being inconvenienced a good manager would have given me my refund which he did and also heshould have offered me fresh baked biscuits free of charge! Obviously it seems as though this manager needs a course in how tosatisfy a customer in the hope that he/she will return! Read more

My first time dining here. I had the salmon patty which was a larger portion than I expected. For the veggies I had squash... casserole, lima beans and the stewed okra/tomatoes. The food was excellent and our waiter did a great job! I'm looking forwardto another visit very soon! Read more
We had the best experience at this location on Thanksgiving Day. Melissa was so kind and efficient as our server. She took great... care of our party of 8. Ms. Sandra, the hostess, was also wonderful. The food was delicious and everything came out warm andfreshly prepared. The atmosphere in the restaurant was exactly how they bill it, very family oriented. Thank you to the wholerestaurant for giving us such a wonderful Thanksgiving experience. Read more
