The food is more Mexician-Americain or Tex-mex if you prefer. The tamale I had had the appearance of a canned or frozen tamale... you might get at a grocery store rather than a quality Tamale that has plenty of Masa and filling and served still in its cornleaf wrap. The beans, rice, and chips were good but the salsa is reminicent of a good bottled salsa rather than a fresh madesalsa I would prefer to see at a hispanic restaurant. Overall a good, friendly. This is by far one my favorite places to eat whether it's to stop in for a quick bite or big dinner with family. They have... something for everyone no matter the price range.
