Whoever gave this place a bad review must be from California...I went to Lexington because of another famous BBQ place where the... line was stupid long. Hit Google maps for another option. Found Herks. GO THERE. Great food and fantastic people. Hung out witha local cattle farmer and had a great time. Get the brisket and some ghost fries! Went back again this weekend. I arrived laterthan planned and missed out on the brisket.....and a cheeseburger instead...it was good....met some more locals....everyonethere is great. Fantastic food and super people. Their variety and quality of burgers is wonderful. (Voted Best Burger in Lee County multiple... times) Gluten free "Moon Burger" is on the menu, but they will make any sandwich or burger without the bun. Their sweet potatofrees are incredible! They have a drive-thru and lots of convenience items & refrigerated beer inside the store and an attachedliquor store. Read more
