I wish we lived closer so I could go all the time! We got a few of their beers and two different types of slushees, which were... all great?but nothing compared to their food! The food was delicious! We got the Mexican street corn pizza and the Mediterraneanshareable appetizer. Everything was perfect and the environment was super chill. We will definitely stop there again whenpassing through VA! While traveling through Lexington on a road trip, our family of four ordered takeout from Heliotrope. The associate who answered... the phone was very friendly, and he accommodated our request to make a traditional cheese pizza to satisfy our 5-year-old (wholater exclaimed, "This is the BEST pizza I've ever had!"). Along with the pizza, we ordered the hummus and labne dips, whichcame with flatbread and veggies. The portions were generous and our family (two adults, two children) wasn't able to finish thefull order during one meal. We truly enjoyed the food and highly recommend it! Read more
I absolutely loved this place, and that's saying something since I'm not a beer drinker. I sampled some of their beers based on... the owners' recommendations, and I discovered that I really like a Porter, especially theirs. The Charm Offensive and SnogginToboggan were my favorites. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat and try their pizza next time around. Read more

Service: 9/10 This place definitely is unique. No one will greet you or come to take your order. You go to the bar to get a menu... and order. Then you go to your table and wait. Nothing wrong with that but its important to know because I sat there for 30 minbefore I figured it out. Cleanliness: 10/10 Very clean and sanitized Staff: 10/10 Very nice and very fast. It took them notime to make the food and bring it out Atmosphere: 7/10 Its different for sure. Not really sure what to think lol Busy: 8/10 Iwent at 4pm right when they opened and it was buzzin in less than an hour Value: 9/10 The food was excellent and very wellpriced. Anywhere else would probably charge a lot more. Overall: 9/10 I would definitely recommend this place because it'sdifferent, definitely not your hum drum dining experience. I had a good time here! The pizza was unique and delicious! I enjoyed using the scissors to cut the slices. I had a mimosa as... part of the Sunday brunch menu...honestly one of the best mimosas I?ve ever had and I got a cool tee shirt too! I?d definitelycome back. Read more
THE BEST gluten free (cauliflower) crust I have from anywhere across the country. Not your typical toppings, but in a good way.... Always good service. Only wish is that they were open more hours. Read more
