We happened upon The Georges while traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and wow ? it ended up being one of my favorite places I?ve... stayed! The lobby bar and restaurant, Taps, was delicious and so accommodating even with our 9:15 pm arrival. The complimentarybreakfast in the morning was also very nice. But the room was my favorite part!! Spotless and stunning, with so many uniquetouches like the cowhide bed frame, very comfortable bed, and even a white noise machine. I?ve never felt compelled to leave areview after a hotel stay, until now! ?????????? Read more

Our room was large and spotless! The shower had the best pressure and the towels and robes were really nice. Everyone that... worked there was incredibly nice and the made to order breakfast in the morning was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay andgetting drinks at the Haywood which had a piano player. The only minor downside was that there was no coffee in the room or minifridge?but they had an iPhone charger on the alarm clock which was awesome! We would highly recommend this place to others. We?ve spent one night at this hotel and it was perfect. Large room, really quiet place, well equipped. And a great plus was the... nice choice of decorations. We were in room 20 and 21. Read more

I stayed on Lawyer's Row and my room was large and extremely comfortable. Be sure to specify if you cannot handle steps, because... mine was several steps up. I entered into a sitting area with its own TV, then straight back to a large, beautiful bedroom. Theensuite was designed beautifully and I so appreciated the fact that there were drawers in the bathroom to put away toiletries. There is nothing more annoying than a pedestal sink and no storage when it comes to hotel rooms. That is certainly not a problemhere. Everything felt very lush and upscale, and the hospitality service was top-notch. Beds were made and rooms were cleaneddaily, including a turndown service. This was exceptional considering that most hotels refuse to return to their previous levelof service, pre-COVID. Bedding was soft and comfortable and I especially appreciated the nice little touch of a sound machinebedside. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. The drinks at the bar were strong and delicious. Breakfastwas mediocre, but I've come to expect that in hotel restaurants. Location could not have been better, smack dab in the middle ofhistoric Lexington and within walking distance to absolutely everything. I highly recommend this hotel! Read more

We held a rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour at The Patton House at The Georges hotel 3 weeks ago. The venue is stunning -... roomy, airy, simple but sophisticated. The chef prepared a delicious chicken Marsala that everyone raved about. The bar servicewas quick and all the servers were very customer service oriented, friendly and efficient. The Events coordinator Sandra madesure everything happened on schedule and as the mother of the groom, I did not have to worry about anything. Of course, I did,but Sandra took care of all the details with a firm but quiet authority. This event kicked off a weekend of pure joy andhappiness for our son?s wedding. Read more

Really enjoyed our stay at The Georges. We stayed in room 12 which had a private balcony directly overlooking Main St. We spent... quite a lot of time there enjoying sunsets, listening to church bells, and just relaxing to the sounds of the city. Amenitieswere very nice, both in room and common spaces. Only thing that would be nice to add would be in-room coffee and maybe fridge.Several great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Perfect location to enjoy historic Lexington. Thanks to the stafffor making our stay really enjoyable. Read more
