Just went to this hyvee and they had rotten chicken stocked on their shelves and raw chicken juice was all over their packages.... I've never smelt something so foul and I'm sure those packages will continue to sit on said shelves contaminated until they'repurchased by a customer. Today their produce was good but usually a majority of their produce is rotten. I will not be returningto this hyvee again. You'd think with being the most expensive local grocery store they'd have higher standards but theirstandards stoop lower than walmart. You might as well go to Price Chopper or Walmart if you want meat or produce that isn't badupon pruchase. Read more
Love this location. Always clean no matter how busy. FYI weekends here are usually very busy. Open early and close late.... Friendly, helpful staff. Very good about keeping items they carry in stock. Read more
On more than one occasion my doctor has sent a prescription to the Hy-Vee Pharmacy that I needed that day for me to be told by... them that it's at a warehouse, and won't be available until the next day. Not exactly the most safest, or healthiest way tohandle people's prescriptions. I never thought I would find a place that takes longer to get you your prescription than theVeteran Affairs Hospital but Hy-Vee has managed it. Read more
The pasta salad bar was extensiiiiive, my people. Like every flavor you?d want and I was helped right away. Options are 8,16, or... 32oz containers. Also the rotisserie chickens are insaaane and they come out every few hours so you?re very likely to get afresh one. The chickens come in different flavors like savory or garlic herb or smoked. This is hard to rate for me. Everything was fulfilled that they could do without substitutions. But some of the very basic items... they were out of which was surprising to me?. Even now. And I guess when somebody else picks out fresh fruit for you, you justget what you get and can?t be picky. I?ve learned my lesson?will not be doing this again. But it is convenient. Just don?t orderfruit because I think you get the worst of what they have?just to get it out of the store. I?m sure I could have returned it,but that was the point of picking up my groceries in the first place. Read more
The best, most varied selection of products housed in a clean and well laid out store. If we had one on the west coast it would... be my regular "fast food" stop. The selection of fast and newly made ready foods is fantastic. This store had at least 5 foodstyle choices in the first 100 feet. Highly recommend! Read more
Their prices are straight up B.S. specially for their tiny chicken strips $2+ A PIECE?! I'll stick with price choppers. At... least the store is clean and the staff is nice. Read more
