From the moment I drove right past this place, while looking for it, for the second time, I knew something was going to be... different about this burger. I travel for work. Not enough to see landmarks, but more that enough to try the best baconcheeseburger in whichever town I'm in. The first taste of literally just the bun confirmed what I already expected; I have founda winner. This was the best bacon cheeseburger I've had out of over 20 choices from Llano to Lampasas. The burger was absolutely delicious, a little over cooked for my preference but very tasty. The bread was nice and fluffy. The... mac n cheese was just OK nothing special. Man where do I start. These guys blew me away. Such great burgers and those fries and signature sauce were too good. It was a... little bit of a wait especially for a weekday but that?s a great sign for a successful business. We ended up calling dibs on aseat p early so we were good after we ordered the food, which came promptly. The burgers were cooked to the right temperature,great flavor and the bun was very different almost carrying a sweet flavor to it. Second time coming and it was pretty good, I can?t stand sweet buns and they have an unsweet wheat bun that was a great... alternative! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and fried pickles as my side, my daughter ordered thechicken tenders, seasoned fries and white gravy. It?s ONLY MY OPINION, but I just don?t find it appealing when everything isfried with the same batter. No variation of seasonings or anything. The gravy needed salt, the jalapeño ranch was really good.Staff were working their butts off and we?re very friendly. Overall I would come back and order a burger on a wheat bun withregular fries.
