As a local who lives down the road and walks every week downtown with my family I am always put off by the trash sitting... outside. Scattered along their whole stretch of property it’s an eye sore on our community. Shouldn’t be hard to clean upevery night. Read more
Had "lunch" here. Terrible experience. Bartender was more interested in the 2 locals at the end of the bar. The smoked brisket... was completely raw. The bartender didn't charge us for the brisket sandwich and offered something to go. We declined. Wings weredecent minus the request for all flats that couldn't be fulfilled. 1/2 pound will get you 5 wings 3 of which were drumsticks. Read more
Have been here several time for different “reasons” - local get-together, after work with colleagues…. That’s the kind... of place this is! Very accommodating, comfortable, GENUINE, and just a great place to go. Was there last night and I asked theserver about something on the menu. She was said she hadn’t tried that - but got another server who had - that’s honest andhelpful. They’re friendly and accommodating, helpful, just plain-ole pleasant and fun. Dana was a fabulous server! She showed extreme patience and courtesy with the large groups she served. Her smile was genuine... and her high quality character shown through during a busy dinner time. Dana is an asset to your restaurant. Karaoke night wasa blast. Visit in a Thursday night and listen to Pam - The Queen of Karaoke! Boom boom shrimp, shrimp cocktail, margaritapizza, corned beef sandwich, and fish tacos were all good. Read more
Evan and Taylor basically saved my bacon. On the 10th of June I took my g/f here for dinner and ordered 2 cans of the beer to... take home and forgot them there. Very sad. BUT - the following day met manager Evan at the Mundelein Craft Beer Fest and toldhim the story, and he and a young lady named Taylor rectified the issue as soon as I went back! I have been coming here for YEARS! Today was a great experience. Our server was a doll, food was delicious and updated menu. One... thing that stood out to me was that this wonderful family establishment allowed the server to bring her child to work. I applaudthe owners/management ???? as a mom this truly warmed my heart???? This is why you support family run businesses. I too bring mydaughter to work when need be I get the struggle. great food!! we ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer and they were so good, they were square shaped and were the best i’ve... ever had. i ordered the kids macaroni and cheese with a side of fries and the white cheese sauce is everything! so good :) Read more
Such a great bar. Large with tons of tables and booths and a super long bar. Very clean with a great selection of craft beer.... The food is excellent and the best Chicagoland bands play there two to four times a week. Full bands as well as acoustic acts. The sound and lights for music is top notch. There are a ton of large screen TVs with all the major college and pro teamsplaying. The staff is excellent. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed.
