Not a fan! Brought my disabled husband here. 1st time for us both. We were cut in front of, then I order tuna salad. I?m given... tuna with pasta. I?m gluten intolerant! When I brought it back I was told I would be charged for regular?apparently tuna i wassupposed to ask for REGULAR tuna. I have never had that in any deli. We tried Picnic Basket for the first time and bought Super Combo Sandwich with soup. Also, bought cheese quesadilla for kids.... The quesadilla size was huge we ended up buying only one for both kids. Was planning to buy their salads and the staff even letus try the flavor since we were having it for the first time. Bought veggie sandwich with Indian lentil soup and it was freshand delicious. Will visit soon again. Read more

Really great place for a sandwich in downtown Libertyville. I had the crab salad sandwich with lettuce and tomatoe. My friend... had a turkey sandwich. They where both big sandwiches so go hungry. There are plenty of options. They also have combo deals witha sandwich, soup or salad, chips, and a drink at a decent price. There is free parking available all around The Picnic Basket.Some of the parking will have a 2 hour restriction but there is also a free parking lot a block away. The staff kept the tablesclean outside and sanitized during this time. They also wore masks and gloves. No indoor seating all outdoors at this time. Theentrance was through the back door. Read more

I really was excited to try this place. The reviews definitely dont match up. Unfortunately there is no Italian meats at all ... not even salami. Easily the best sandwich you'll find around. Salads are great as well and the cookies are to die for. The super combo is a... fantastic deal and you're guaranteed to leave full. They can be a little short on seating during rushes, but there's a parkacross the street you can eat at as well. Read more
