Been here once for a lunch dessert and it was very tasty. Honey Toast with ice cream, it was fantastic! One star off because... this place is primarily desserts, yet they aren?t open in the evening. There have been at least a dozen times we?ve wanted togo, only to remember they close so early. Would recommend being open for post-dinner dessert seekers. Read more
This place is disappointing. Not recommended. Compared to jo jo shaved ice or Wailua shaved ice or even some of the food trucks... were more exciting. For the same price of $12, I can get an Açaí bowl at Aloha Aina juice cafe two doors down and be moresatisfied. 1. The cream top was just watered down cream. It didn?t even have shape. 2. Flavors are all syrups, no fruitpurée 3. Fruits on the bottom? Why? So I can get to it once my ice turns watery? frozen, not fresh. 4. A spoonful of Ice creamportion in the bottom was lazy. Better places put shaved ice, an ice cream ball, fruit purée, fresh fruit, and a cream top thathold its shape like whipped cream. Or a combination. The owner should think about making a better product for $12, andconsistent. Read more

This is the legit place for shaved us...gotta trust Uncle right? ????. Great size, good quality topping selection. Go with the... fresh fruit on bottom...pineapple were my go to. After checking a few other spots, we returned to Uncle's. It wasn't until therepeat visit that we saw the sign the it was voted top shaved ice in Kauai, for several consecutive years.
