Friendly service. Got the peppercorn poutine to share, tuna tartare, and seafood pasta. The tartare and poutine were excellent,... but the seafood pasta definitely was over cooked. Reasonable price point for what you?re getting. Read more
Moved into the neighborhood about 2 years ago and happened by Balneo by looking for a nicer restaurant on the web near me. Read... a few reviews and decided to give it a try since everyone was just raving about the food and service. I have to say, those thatraved did not do this restaurant justice, the melding of food and ambience with old European flavors was just fabulous. Ourlovely waitress Karine turned out to be our most delightful bartender as well and we certainly took advantage of her skillfultalents. Koodos to Derek and Martine the owners of this delightful establishment for putting together meals to simply take youaway and hiring people to match and compliment thier skills. Highly recommended.
