My husband and I had our wedding reception here a couple days ago and it was beautiful! The caterers were so nice and easy to... work with. Very accommodating and the food was delicious! I didn?t have to worry about a thing. We did run out of one meat andone wine but they brought out a substitute for each that was just as good. We had my dad?s 85th birthday party luncheon here. Our wait staff, she did a phenomenal job! She was super helpful, pleasant,... accommodating. Could not ask for any better service. The building itself looks nice and fresh inside. A much needed update. Iwish I could say that the food was awesome, everyone at the party did the Buffet. But unfortunately it just seemed very bland.The carrots did not have much taste, nor the beef and noodles, nor the pot roast, and so on. Really wanted to like the food. It looked gorgeous as it was just set up new for the day to start, but it just didn?t taste like anything/flavorful.Disappointing. Read more
Nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly enough. My wife and I got the buffet. Food was rather bland and the selection wasn't... huge for the price. The buffet was well attended however and was kept very clean. Unfortunately I think our waitress was busyas it was a certain long wait for drink refills. Would be willing to go back if we're in town but not to make a special trip. Read more
I was just driving through Ohio and needed somewhere to grab lunch and I am so glad I chose Old Barn. Our server, Brandy was so... pleasant and the food was great, especially the pickled eggs from the salad bar. The fried chicken was as juicy and flavorful asyou could ask for. Wow! Cute little place we decided to stop at on our way to Columbus and we are so happy we did. Best fried chicken I have ever... had! Brandy our server was incredibly nice and very attentive. Went for the prime rib buffet. Prime rib was ok, but it was sliced very thin and put in warmer trays which continued to cook the... meat further. May be worth getting a carving station to cut as needed if its going to be sliced so thin. Fried chicken wasgreat. Items were a bit limited for the price, but overall it was fine. We have lived in Lima for over 3 years now and we are kicking ourselves for not going sooner! I got the lobster Mac and Cheese... and my husband got the fried chicken, both were amazing! Had the seafood linguini and salad bar. Everything was delicious and fresh. Best of all might have been the pie. I went hoping... they had peanut butter pie but instead had my first orange cream sickle pie and it was delicious. My waitress was very friendlyand attentive. Will definitely stop back. Read more
