A few friends and I had lunch at Simple Pleasures today. The menu is full of unique sandwiches that all sounded so amazing it... was hard to choose. Our food was reasonably priced and delicious. I've lived in Lincoln for years and had not eaten at Simple Pleasures until yesterday! Very kind staff, and the best and biggest... steak sandwich! Hot off the bbq grill anyway you like your steaks to be grilled. Mine was perfect! I like my steak to be cookedmedium, and it was juicy, cut like butter :) My fur-baby was drooling over just the box! My sister and I recently visited here for the first time. I love the atmosphere, and the choices of sandwiches are unique. I... was, however, disappointed that the sandwiches are made on simple bread and not nearly as good as their descriptions. Also, ittook us more than 40 minutes to receive our lunch. I know it's hard to find help these days, but that would be one thing thatcould be worked on. Read more

I stopped in for lunch and had the veggie sandwich with turkey. Comes with a small side salad. It was sooooooo delicious ???? ... I left with a slice of peach crumble pie.......soooo soon good. Check it out sometime. Ingredients were so fresh and the breadwas just so light and tasty. Read more
We stopped in on our way to the Thursday night Lincoln Farmer's Market. This cafe is adorable. We split a slice of blackberry... pie a la mode. The pie was served warm, which was a nice touch. The blackberries were juicy and delicious and not overly sweetor syrupy. The pie crust was buttery and flaky. The ice cream tasted fresh and complimented the pie nicely. The server saidtheir sandwiches are good, we plan on coming back soon to try them! Read more
Great food very consistent. Sometimes we have to wait awhile for food. Though they are very busy.
