The chicken kebabs are fantastic and enough for two people. The gyro "z" sandwich is also an excellent choice.
I have been eating here since I came to college in 2010. The gyros are always fresh and delicious! Even my kids never argue when... we eat here! It has definitely been a staple in downtown for a LONG time! My go to is the spicy z plate. Lunch, Dinner, afterthe bars grub to go, you can never go wrong with this place! Found this picture of almost ravaged Greek Chicken from 4 years back on my phone and decided to give a 5-stars review to Ali... Baba Gyros for the warmth provided by the food and the people in the restaurant back when I was a student in UNL. As you canprobably tell from the picture, their Greek Chicken was my absolute fave. Now that I'm a working adult, in another side of theworld to add to that, it will be difficult for me to come and get this gem again. However, it's not impossible. First off I loved the food. Quick service and my request for more tomatoes was quickly fulfilled. A lot of food especially more... meat. I liked the servers smile and sense of humor. Ali Baba's was clean and set up well. Look forward to eating there again. Read more

I had the hot and spicy gyro. Wow was it ever good. Spicy and full of flavor but not too much spice. Really good!
Quality really dropped lately, and I've frequented here for 10 plus years, and it's never before been hit or miss on the food... quality. Examples include the gyro meat not grilled, seemed a bit raw; less steak fries; plate size smaller. Still, nicelocation, but once really good food not really good anymore.
