Absolutely love this beautiful and delicious restaurant. We had the sea bass...the tomatoes and sauce were amazing. The sea... bass could have been a thicker piece and was a bit over cooked...still taste wonderful. Lobster bisque had a fantastic lobsterflavor. Love the atmosphere of quaint winery. Very lovely and will definitely be back in hopes to try the blackened salmon!! Wemade reservations...otherwise you could wait 40 mins to an hour. I have come to this restaurant many times. Every time, despite the size of the group and ages of the other guests with me they... have only treated us with respect. Along with the food being amazing, they go above and beyond of what is expected at a venuelike itself. I will continue coming to Carmela’s because of the wonderful food and even better management. My husband and I both had steaks cooked perfectly to order. The flavors are nowhere near average. The sides with our dishes were... wonderfully paired. We had cocktails instead of wine but their wine list was amazing. Our server was top notch. Friendly andattentive. Looking for a nice date night. You will not be disappointed. Read more
Our server was very friendly and did a good job at serving. But everything else was not good. Menu is really weird and random... and expensive but we both settled on something to order. Neither of us liked our meals. Mine had huge red onion slivers thatwere gross and looked like worms. It also had salmon in the pasta which made the whole dish taste fishy. My husband had thewalleye and he said it was probably the worst he’s had. We aren’t ones to complain at places and make a stink so we wentabout our way and asked for the ticket. For two of us to eat at this place was almost $60 before tip. Not worth it at all. Willnot be back. Didn’t feel the best afterwards either. Read more
The last two times we have ordered takeout has been amazing! They are so helpful when you call and tonight I got Cody on the... phone! He was personable and then what I absolutely loved was you were taken care of by the same individual who took your callwhen you pick up! Definitely a more upscale take out experience! Carmela’s Bistro has become one of our new favorite spots when we want a night of fine dining. The interior was decorated so... lovely, even with some nice Christmas decorations added. The food was all cooked very well, we ended up getting the breadservice as an appetizer, which I would recommend for anyone. My only complaint for that is that I wish we would have gotten morebread served to us. We ordered dessert, which was a cake served in a wide wine glass which was a fun way for us to share witheach other. We can’t wait to return here! Read more
We were so sad to have such a terrible experience at Carmellas. After making a reservation two weeks in advance and confirming... that twice once during the week and one the day of our reservation, we were told we didn’t have a reservation and would wewant to sit at the bar. After telling them no, we would prefer not to since we made a reservation two weeks advance. I showedthem our reservation confirmation text. They stuck us in a back room at a terrible table! Our server was amazing at thebeginning, and was very sweet. Our cocktails were amazing and kudos to the bartender! However, my steak was completelyundercooked and my husband’s prime rib was less than a half inch thick. After waiting 20 minutes for our check to be pickedup, I went to the front to see if he could processes. He said no. When our server came back, she was short and unfriendly. I’mso sad. This was such a bad experience. I love to support Lincoln restaurants in anyway I can. However, for the price of themeals, this experience was less than expected. Read more
