Florio's is extremely delicious. I love their bread, and the oil that comes with it right before your meal. I had the Calamari... and Carsoni with tortellini, and I was blown away by the quality. For a sit down restaurant, this was an above average Italian restaurant with awesome service, authentic menu, and semi-chic... atmosphere. The prices were fair and the food was good. I had sirloin steak with angel pasta and a mushroom “au jus” likesauce. Steak was good, sauce was excellent. The bread at the start was delicious also, as bread usually is. It was okay. We are a large family; the majority of our children being teens and young adults. We made reservations early in the... day for a 8pm birthday dinner for our 18 yr old daughter. It was on a Monday. They weren't very busy. They sat us as soon as wegot there, so no waiting:). Restaurant appeared clean and well maintained (I didn't check the restroom). I would have liked togive 5 stars, however, what's most important to me when stepping foot in an establishment is the interaction with staff. Nonoticeable greeting welcoming us, nor was there an opportunity to exchange greetings. My husband & I, and five out of 8 of ourkids dined there that night. At $30+/plate $3.xx/person beverages- we spent a few hundred bucks at this restaurant on a Mondaynight; and short of round robin ordering, we didn't have any conversation with staff or managers. No small talk, norecommendations, no happy birthday, etc. I work in business and my husband and I own a few businesses, and I wouldn't feel rightif any of my clients or customers were not treated as if their presence matter. I rather dine at a shotgun hole in the wallburger grease shack knowing there's warmth, hospitality and acknowledgment from the staff who represents the business. Food wasgood; albeit not worth going back for though, not when the customer facing staff chooses to not share their face with customers.Plenty other places for us to take our children, our family, and feel welcome. Hopefully it was just an off night for the staff.To clarify, I'm not advising against checking out Florio's, I encourage you to. I'm simply summarizing my unpleasantexperience, hoping itwas a fluke. My husband and I have come here several times recently. The food was fantastic! He ordered the pizza, the crust and sauce are to... die for. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and chicken Marsala; both were so flavorful. Our server, Hannah, was very attentive andfriendly. 10/10! Read more

got the seafood Alfredo, it was pretty good. rolls were fresh and delicious, the Alfredo sauce was great just a little too much... pepper in it for my taste. could have had a couple more shrimp in the dish as well. the tiramisu was delicious. staff wasfriendly and accommodating. Read more

The food was amazing, truly excellent. We were disappointed in the quality of the mixed drink as well as the service. The... restaurant was not busy but we were not offered water refills nor dessert. We eventually made a decision not to order dessert aswe did not want to reward the restaurant with further business due to the quality of service. At various points our server toldus she was “busy in the back” by way of explanation for the slow service we received. We eventually asked a different serverfor water, to go boxes, and the check.
