Good Evans is great; if it?s a Husker game weekend (I think even if it?s not a game day), it?s crowded. If it is around... breakfast time, or noon-ish. Because it?s so delicious! Pancakes with nuts and caramel sauce are something to share. It?s onlythree pancakes, but it feels like a few pounds of food! And it?s 100% dessert. My wife and I shared it Saturday (12 noon, 20minute wait), and I actually left two or three bites on my plate for the food gods. We have also had other breakfast or lunchmeals, all good. It?s a pleasant place, very nice staff and pleasant environment. Easy to seat, nice booths, clean bathrooms, easy at-table checkout. All the stars. Note: they close at 2:30pm every day I think. We had a fantastic breakfast this morning! Staff was incredibly busy and yet so very nice. Plan on waiting, but it goes quick... and it's worth the wait. Highly recommend the breakfast pie! Read more

Finally was able to make it to Good Evans. Been wanting to go here since they opened but haven't had the time and they're always... so busy. Little did I know I was missing out on the amazing food they had to offer. There's a dish for everyone here, fromavocado toast to eggs Benedict to homemade pop tarts. I had the biscuits and gravy and I was stuffed after that. As a desert mygroup got a brown sugar homemade pop tart which I was a little skeptical of at first but it ended up being so much more than Ithought it would be, with a warm gooey inside and crunchy outside the pop tart could not have been any better. The service herewas great, the one host was friendly and brought a smile to our faces. The waitress was friendly and patient with everyone aswell. I can see myself coming back in the not far off future! Read more

The menu here? Oh my! It's so hard to pick what to have! I must have spent a good 10 minutes on three different locations for... days before going here. Trying to decide what to get, And it was all useless. Too many good options! I got the PerseaOmelette, but they were put of Green Chile. Had spinach instead. The omelette was amazing! So big and so fresh! It was actuallysteaming when I cut into it. Very much loaded with chicken and cheese and the spinach and everything. The house made salsa.. Sofreaking good! It was kind of spicy and went amazingly well with the omelette. I asked for an English muffin on the side and itnever came. Had to ask for it and then it came - toasted with the butter and everything. I like my butter on the side so had toget that replaced. I also got the strawberry walnut salad - no walnuts, only almonds. They forgot to put the almonds on there,So I had to ask for that part separately as well. My fiance also got the same salad (everything on) and his came just right. Thedressing.. Bacon Vinaigrette.. just beautiful! It really paired so well with the fresh strawberries and the blue cheese. Quitesome big pieces of strawberries in there which was good but there was also a lot of blue cheese in big crumbles. This got alittle too hard to have because of the flavor came out too strong. We both removed some blue cheese on the side. Overall reallyamazing salad though. Fiancé also got the Turkey Apple Sandwich. This one was loaded! A very generous amount of the turkeybreast as well as bacon and melted cheese and everything was on point. There weren't any greens in the sandwich and We both tendto find sandwiches without greens too heavy on the meat, but this one was perfect! You really didn't feel too much meat inthere. Just spot on. We also got a side of sweet tots - These look really pretty. I was expecting them to be crispy but theywere more on the softer side. Also very very oily so I don't think we would want them again. It was our first time here and we came during a Sunday afternoon which was expected to be busy, but worth the wait!! The... estimated wait time was about 30 min for 2 people, and in reality we waited about 9 min which was great! The entire staff wassuper friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Nebraska bene and my husband ordered the pork belly mac n cheese, and we shared aFrench toast together. Overall, the food tasted amazing! I kept saying 'mm' with each bite because I was so impressed with howyummy it was! The flavors of everything were immaculate. We are definitely coming back, and I even had a friend recommend metrying the salmon bowl or pot pie breakfast bowl as well as one of their coffees for next time! 10/10 ?????????????? Read more
