The sushi was great, presentation was lovely. Our server did a great job. It seemed like they were really short handed on this... night because there were a lot of tables waiting to be cleaned. Fortunately there was one table that was in ready so we didn'thave to wait. Read more

Took my daughter to the Lincoln south location for her birthday. The apps, sushi and dinners were delicious and filling. Our... waitress was helpful, kind, polite. We will surely be returning. Read more

Waiter was super sweet as always; the sushi and the rest of the dishes were absolutely delicious! Hiro88 is honestly one of the... best sushi places I’ve eaten at while living in the Omaha-Lincoln area and definitely will be missed when I move! Read more

I love coming to Hiro on Sundays for the all day happy hour. We ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer. It only had 4 pieces of... shrimp but also had some other things fried in tempura: asparagus, broccoli, potato slices, onion slices, and mushrooms. Theseadditives were fine but I wish it had more shrimp pieces. For sushi my favorites are the Las Vegas and sweet chili crunch. Ialso ordered the hiro crunch but it's not as much of a favorite as it used to be. Tried the west coast too which was good butvery similar to the Las Vegas. We tried the sesame chicken too most recently and it wasn't overly impressive. My son thought itcould be saucier, and I agreed to give more flavor. I've previously ordered the fried rice and beef and broccoli but wouldn'trecommend either of those. Read more

I've been to Hiro 88 several times over the years and it's a reliably good experience every time. The menu is enormous which... sometimes means less attention is given to each dish, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Whether it's the rolls, thesmall plates or the entrees, everything earns its spot on the menu. The craft cocktails are decently complex with qualityliquor. Nothing will blow your mind but they're still great, and fairly priced for what you get. The fried rice and scallionpancakes are great options for kids. Our toddler loves them both. The Mai Tai is pictured (sans lime garnish). Read more

I have been to almost all of the sushi restaurants in Lincoln and have to say even though I have only just discovered this one... ... it might be my favorite. Lots of options and some really nice combinations that I have not found elsewhere. Whoever putssome of these together knows a thing or two about flavor and texture and every roll so far has been a delight to try. Theatmosphere is classy and the server was attentive and they are even open late compared to some offerings in the area. Definately worth checking out. Read more

Terrible service. After a 50+ min wait for simple Chinese food, we were told we had wait 30 minutes for the sushi. The excuse... was it is a Sunday, as I was staring at a row of empty tables at 6:30pm. Cancelled the sushi got the other food in a fewminutes. Sesame chicken was dry. (Panda express’ might be better.) Snow White chicken was swimming in a lot of sauce. Oh, andthey charge you extra (3.5%) if you dare to use your credit card. Avoid at all costs! Read more

Their bento box for lunch was an excellent deal. We’ve also tried happy hour and the sushi is always great!
