Best ribs I've ever had. I bought these bad boys and finish them all the way down in Utah. I will be coming back to you guys... when I come back around to Lincoln. 5 starts for sure. Second review: Came back a second time and the ribs where fire???????????????? along with the squealin' BBQ sauce. Visited this restaurant for the first time with no expectations. They were exceeded. I am a huge barbecue enjoyer, and make... frequent trips to Kansas City for barbecue (among other things). I got the 2 meat meal with brisket and hot links. Also got Macn cheese and mashed taters. The food was above adequate, although it could have been a bit warmer. The service and atmospherewere both exceptional, which makes this a great place to take the family. The service was great. As soon as I finished my orderand filled my drink, the food was already done! As soon as I sat down my brisket n taters came faster than a ******** **********. Staff was also very friendly. I came to Hog Wild simply because I was hungry, but I left a different person. The food wasmediocre as far a BBQ goes, but the children?s birthday party next to my table made me feel like I had a real family for thefirst time in my life. Also the Mac and cheese was kinda cold. I gave two stars because I actually really enjoyed the ribs one time. Unfortunately that was the only time! You have to get it... right every time! The meat was way to tough and dry! The chicken was dry, and the brisket was dry! I won?t be going back? Read more
By far the worst food I have had In a long time period. I ordered the burnt ends meal And a loaded baked potato the baked... potato Was almost completely dehydrated it was terrible I don't know what they did to that potato but I've never tastedanything quite so bad. Burnt ends are supposed to be tender juicy and melt in your melt in your mouth. The burnt ends that I hadhere were so oh tough I could barely stab them with my fork much less Chew them, To add insult to injury they didn't taste good. Sapp brothers has better burnt ends and they are not even a barbecue joint. The only saving grace was that the dinner that Iordered came with garlic toast, that was the only thing that I found to be delicious everything else I could not even eat. Thestaff were Lexidaysical no one had checked on the dining area the whole time we were there. There were quite a few tables thatwere dirty with food debris. my tabel didnt even have paper towels on the dispenser. If the food had been even mediocre Iwouldn't have noticed any of the Other aforementioned issues. My advice is pass this place up and go to any other place ... Read more
We have been very happy with your food,UNTIL TODAY,I didn't get one of my sides which I noticed before leaving and had to go... back to the drive-thru. I asked for salt & pepper,when getting home I found staples in the sack. I called the restaurant backspoke with the manager,he said he doesn't know how that could have happened. He says they have staples near the drive-thur. Ithrew my sandwich and rib's away couldn't be sure it didn't have staples in it.VERY disappointed!!!! Read more
It is fast food barbecue. I thought the barbecued ribs ???? were delicious. I didn't care for the fries. The service was... courteous and timely. The atmosphere was typical for this type of restaurant. Overall it's good and I would go back. And Iwould recommend it to my friends. Read more
Recently had Hog wild and I was not happy with my experience. First off, the brisket was not brisket, it was a pot roast of some... sort and was in a ?pulled? form. Usually brisket is sliced or chopped. The Mac and cheese was cool to the touch which obviouslyindicates it was not fresh. Meat was not fresh either as it was already wrapped in foil and labeled which tells me it is cookedthen stored until someone orders it. This place used to be a favorite of mine but after today I don?t see myself returning justbecause it?s still expensive and has lost quality. Read more
Very good bbq. They had a rush but they handled it very quickly. Had the Carolina pulled pork with baked beans. Really good.... Also to drink I had the watermelon tea. Not a big fan of it but it was a first so I can?t complain as it was my choice to pickit. Overall I?d come here again. Read more
