Disappointed in the quality of the food. A Moldy cup of beer sat on the dusty window banister by the booths where we were... seated. We had to ask the waitress to remove it. Soup was luke warm My plate had dirty finger prints on it. Burger patty wascold and bland Buns brittle and tasted freezer burned. Our table had leftover food residue. I brought a guest from out of townand we spent well over $25 for our meals. I was hoping to show the best side of Lincoln in the trendy Haymarket. But instead wewere met with regret. This was a great pub to visit for dinner. They have an extensive list of great craft draft beers. The food was great but the... service was outstanding. The young workers are working hard and fast yet they will take the time to make menu recommendationsall while looking you in the eye. This is the best service I have had in a while. Very last minute decision to come here and I would NOT recommend it for a quick meal. No one came to take our order for a good... 10 minutes until we actually called someone. The food didn't take too long so that was okay. Portion sizes on both items weordered was very small. I got the Southwest Salad with shrimp instead of chicken. Salad was quite small and that was barely anyshrimp on there. I had to ask for extra greens (actually walked up to the host because no one came to check on us or any tablein our area). It came with a honey lime dressing and Southwest peanut sauce and those both were really good. The combination ofboth was perfect. My fiance got the Smoking Gun Burger (with the peanut sauce and onion rings and bacon), and not going tolie... That burger was quite small. We eat out a lot and have tried burgers at a lot of restaurants, and this definitely doesnot compare. Onion rings will also very oily. I was really expecting experience, but this was not it. Excellent restaurant and I don?t always say that. We are out-of-staters and my expectations were highly exceeded by Lazlo?s.... Picked this place by happenstance and it definitely did not disappoint.
