Ordered the scallops, and the seer on the scallop was very uneven and had the consistency of jello, and the risotto lacked... flavor. Overall it's a place where i would only get the cocktails and skip out on the meals. I also had the beet fries and thecut on the vegetable was very uneven and some pieces were thick and some thin. The food is astronomical, if they get your order right. Unfortunately for me, they overcooked my steak (ordered rare and got the... medium side of medium rare, barely pink at all in the center and a big brown border) and I got an attitude about simply askingfor it to be corrected. Two specific people earned this restaurant a 2 star review, bordering on one star but the food is tooamazing to only give one star- the first one being my server, who made it known she was put off by my request, the other seemslike the front manager who said he'd return to see if my food 'was to my liking' (nice phrasing pal) very coldly and surprise:the front manager never returned (for the two people that treated me less than politely: I'm sorry that it inconvenienced youtwo individuals specifically so much so by asking for *your* mistake to be corrected, message received ). Also, in the middle ofme eating, I was asked if I wanted to box my things... as I was chewing... about 7 minutes after I got the correct version of mymeal. The server then for the rest of my meal did not return we did not get any additional drinks, I would have liked to- thepear martini is a recommendation of mine. Please do try it, you'll be over the moon. In my opinion, this is unacceptable and acontinuation of the inappropriate and unwarranted attitude. Again, it was not me who messed up, I would appreciate not beingtreated like I bit the head off of a bat for asking for my request of a rare ribeye coming out rather medium be corrected. Inshort- if you can withstand the possibility of being more and more uncomfortable with less-than-stellar service for apotentially amazing meal (the discomfort factor will probably will not apply if they can get it right) this may be the place foryou. What can I say? Piedmont Bistro has the most beautiful cocktails? Yes, they do. Is all of their food downright delicious? I... guess I could say that too. I feel like every time I come here, I'm left with a beautiful, sparkling memory. All of theappetizers are spectacular, and the dinner menu has a gorgeous salmon dish that's definitely worth a try. Delicious food, great service and lots of parking space. Very popular place, so I recommend you make reservations or you will... have to wait for at least 30 minutes. I ordered a BYO Benedict with COB Smoked Ham and Herb Roasted Potatoes. The Benedict wasdelicious. The eggs were perfectly poached and the ham had great flavor. If their English muffins were softer, they would be a10/10 for sure. The bacon was tasty and complimented the Benedict beautifully. The herb roasted potatoes were perfectly seasonedand cooked. I would definitely order them again. I also got to try their pain pancakes, which were fluffy and tasty. It wentwell with their coffee. I had mine with just cream and sugar. I went here for dinner with my friend on a Tuesday night. The inside is so inviting and the outside is beautiful. 10/10 for the... ambiance. The food was so amazing and flavorful. We both had the ribeye steak. The Gorgonzola cream sauce is definitely a must.The service was good, but our waiter could have been a bit more attentive. Very nice, though.
