Went to the 33rd and Holdrege location for a to go order. I ordered the lasagna with a piece of pizza. I was shocked when I... got home and found it was 2 noodles with sauce and cheese. That is about 1/2 of what other Valentino's serve. I thought maybeit was an employee screwing up, so I called and asked the manager if that was normal. He informed me that at 33rd street thatis how they make it. This is a $10.00 meal. I also had to wait 10 minutes for this "express" meal. I grew up going toValentino's and have such fond memories that I have always been a supporter. I think I might be re-thinking that. I will not beback to that location. Good bread sticks and pizza. We came on a day that was pretty quite. They have tvs to watch sports and comfortable booths.

Good food. We're a party of 6 that arrived Sunday evening about 6. One guy waiting tables, bussing tables, taking... orders....ONE GUY. He said it be about 30 min before he could seat us....then food might be slow. We chose to wait, we wantedtime to visit. He seated us in about 30 minutes, got our drink order, took our food order and reiterated it might beAWHILE. We decided to stay. He was delivering other food, clearing tables, and brought our drinks, checked back after abit. We probably wIted 40 minutes for the food.... The food was great, lasagna, pizza, and calzone...very good. Had we notwanted to visit, we would never have stayed. The food was worth 4 stars, and the service / waiter guy was 5 stars. The pizza and pastas we're great; but felt sorry for the guy waiting ALL of the tables by himself! Come on people, help out this... poor waiter! He did a great job, so kudos to him working in a stressful situation. We left him a good tip. Read more

With my pizza, I ordered a ?Giant Gourmet Snickerdoodle Cookie? and got a small rock hard cookie in a ziplock bag. Yes, a... ziplock bag! It was nowhere near gourmet and nowhere near giant. The pizza was completely average. Generic pizza, exactly whatyou?d expect. Doughy and bland. My disappointment with the cookie still lingers. I should have taken a picture of it, but I ateit to try to quell my disappointment with the pizza. It tasted like a 2-day old ball of flour. Read more
