Honestly, this may be one of Lincoln's best kept secrets. I could tell that many of the patrons were local regulars...and the... waitresses made us feel like we were too! Hours are breakfast and lunch, so check before you go. I can't wait to go back for aburger. Today, we both ordered the chicken fried steak. I had my eggs sunny side up and they were perfect. They offered homefries or hash browns and a selection of toasts. The CFS tasted homemade. Every bite was hot and crunchy. Woodees is a smallergem, but we walked in and seated ourselves. Service was fast, friendly, and affordable. I loved this place so much that Ibought a shirt and tipped 50%. Read more
I was in Lincoln for work and needed to find a great breakfast spot for my time there. I went to Woodees one day and it became... my go to! The service is excellent and the food is great also consistent which is hard to find. The French Toast is hands downthe best I?ve ever had. Read more

Stopped in for breakfast and what a great find. Cute little diner. Very pleased with the food. The service on the other hand was... awful. Waited 20 minutes to order as the waitress was visiting with other tables. Waited for a box and check while she flossedher teeth right behind the counter in front of people eating. Great food and great service. The food took a little long to come out, but it was worth the wait. This isn?t a quick brunch... place, so don?t expect fast. It?s a nice relaxing sit down restaurant. Also very affordable. 5 adults and 1 child ate for under$60. Read more

This place was awesome! A very affordable menu even with the price increase, which they are very up front and honest about. The... staff is very friendly and talkative which was awesome. And the food? Fantastic! Probably one of my favorite breakfast mealsI've had in Lincoln. I ordered the Morning Woodie and while it was very greasey, boy was it tasty.
