Waited over an hour (on a Wednesday) for 3 orders of wings (24) and a chicken strip basket. The food was ridiculously over... cooked and dry. When we got back to our cabin the chicken strips weren?t in the bag. Went back to get them and the waitressargued that they were in there. After she checked in back she found our misplaced order. The place is decorated in yard salecast offs or more likely road side finds. Some of the 2 liters of pop that they are selling are over a year out of date. I canonly assume that the kitchen has as little care to cleaning and food safety as the public spaces. Read more
The food was great. If you think of a "greasy spoon" ... A place where it does not look good on the outside, any maybe an inside... to match, yet people keep coming to it because of the food ... That's this place. I expect we will eat here most of the times wego to Holiday World moving forward. Great prices too Read more
Very good food. Was a little apprehensive when pulled up on parking lot as the place from the outside looks more like a... roadside biker bar. The service was really friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best pizza around. Wings were nicelycooked. Had a number of options for wing sauces. Honey garlic sauce was our favorite. It's a nice little gem of restraunt. Read more
This establishment is hit or miss when it comes to the quality of food and service. Two weeks ago, we ordered two pizzas to be... delivered, first time we?ve ordered in four or five months, the pizzas were delicious. Warm, perfect balance of ingredients,etc. The delivery time was over 1.5 hrs on a week day, but after a long work day, we chose to wait it out. I was pleased withthe quality of the food. This week we ordered the same two pizzas and they were cold, the cheese was hard, and appeared as ifthe pizza had been finished hours before it made it to us, completely flavorless, my husband?s pizza had little to no meat onit, same issue with the cheese, and his also was flavorless. Also, there was NO sauce on either pizza, it?s as if they skipped astep, therefore the pizza was very dry. I?ve never seen a restaurant forget sauce on a pizza?. We waited another 1.5+ hrs fordelivery. The delivery driver is beyond unprofessional. He pulls in with his music blaring, no conversation, and wreaks ofcigarettes every time. We?ve decided going forward to spend the gas and time to go to ~>Rockport to Angelo?s, <~ betterservice, consistent quality, and always delicious food. We have tried to give Hoosier Land the benefit of the doubt every fourto six months, since moving here 6 years ago, because we truly want to support local businesses, but it?s always a gamble as towhat kind of food we will end up with and have found it?s not worth the wait, nor our money any longer when there?s noconsistency to the quality. There?s nothing worse than throwing $50 after tip in the trash can 9 times out of 10 for two mediumpizzas that can?t be enjoyed. We?ve called before when we?ve had an issue. They will bring another order, but it?s alwaysanother hour + wait to get that, so unfortunately, that?s not always ideal when you?ve already waited an hour plus for the firstorder?. Read more
Loved it. Seriously, don?t miss your chance to stop in this joint. You will eat like a king in a cute and comfortable setting.... Very affordable prices. Even one of Lincoln?s cabins has been relocated around back. The servers work hard the whole time butare uber-friendly. I?m so glad we stopped in there on our weekend to Holiday World. Read more
The food here is amazing. Don't let the exterior scare you away. It took a little while to get our food, but it was well worth... it. We ordered out pizza the first night it was excellent. When we ate in the second night it was a lot of pizza sauce and the... crust was doughy. The appetizers were great. They call their sandwiches Stromboli's I picture them different but my daughterhad the buffalo chicken ranch and she loved it. My son had honey bbq chicken wings he loved them so much he had me buy theirbbq sauce! Read more
Good food at a good price. We really enjoyed our dinner. The Reuben is delicious! We will definitely come back!
