I was looking for a good pizza place while visiting Lincoln City, and Tie Dye did not disappoint! We ordered the seafood pizza... and a pepperoni pizza, and both were fantastic. So delicious! I?m plant based and saw on reviews that they had a vegan cheese option instead of dairy cheese, and they gladly... substituted (for a fee). Their dough is simple and doesn?t have dairy. Also got a veggie calzone with vegan cheese. They usedaiya vegan cheese. They?ll pile it on, so depending on your preferences, just ask for less:) Crust is amazing! Perfect fluffand crunch. Best tasting pizza in a long time! You can tell it is made fresh and with love! it doesn?t taste processed or fake! On vacation and looking for a good Friday night pizza - wound up with a GREAT pie, stromboli AND a t-shirt:-). Crust is amazing,... sauce is perfect, fresh ingredients put together by what the newspapers quoted as a classically trained chef, (although I haveto say after talking with Ken he definitely has his own vibe!). The Experience was just ok. When we arrived the owner was super grumpy and complained the entire time about masks. He wouldnt... make simple suggestions on pizza options and claimed, "I dont tell people what to eat". He was super brash and not verynice. The pizza had so much cheese it was overwhelming to eat even 2 pieces and the overall flavors left me wishing I hadlooked elsewhere. The chips on taco pizza were stale and old tasting. With pizza thats just OK and an owner that is brash andoverbearing, I will be going elsewhere in the future. Read more
No frills -- great food. This very small pizza joint manages to produce huge pizzas and calzones that are freaking tasty. From... the moment we walked in, we knew this was gonna be amazing; it smelled like the local Italian pizzeria I went to when I wasgrowing up. I prefer pizza places that have non-dairy cheese and plant-based meat, but even without those items, the vegancalzone I got was huge and delicious. My only complaint was that the bottom crust was so thin and so hot that it wore a holethrough the plate before we got it home. The thin bottom crust made for a bit of sogginess and a messy eating experience. Mypartner got a pepperoni pizza and thought it was great -- just the right amount of pepperoni (though a little heavy on thecheese). All in all one of the best food experiences we had in Lincoln City and we'll be back for sure. Read more
Oh my gosh?best vegan pizza hands down ever. LOADED with veggies, amazing sauce, good quality vegan cheese, and amazingly... perfect crispy crust. We live in Salem and have tried all the local vegan pizza around and some are pretty good, but hands downthis is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! The vegan Stromboli is sure to WOW as well when we work our way to it next. Highly recommend! Read more
Ignore the bad reviews, order from here. We were staying overnight in Lincoln City on a road trip and wanted to try a local... pizza place. It was a tough decision since the three pizza places all have love/hate reviews, but we were very happy with ourchoice. Ordering was quick over the phone and the food was ready when we got there 20minutes later. It was fresh tasting, hadplenty of toppings and a nice crispness to the crust. It was very filling, we each could only eat a couple pieces, but wanted toeat more as it was delicious. I saw a lot of complaints about the employee, the guy working there doesn't have a big bubblypersonality but he was perfectly nice. We picked up some yummy looking desserts too, but are too full right now to taste them. Read more
