Came here for dinner with family to celebrate. Haven't been in years, but solid food and everyone was super friendly here.
EDIT 10/29/22: After writing my initial review I up’d 1 star because I wrote the management about our terrible experience and... Matt the general manager personally called me within an hour. He apologized and tried to make the bad situation right. Bigdisappointment at this Wildfire location. Pick another Wildfire location as the service here is the WORST! We’ve been to allof them and we live near the Schaumburg location so we usually go there. We were meeting friends who drove from Kenosha and weall especially picked this Wildfire location. The kitchen staff seemed to have it altogether but the wait staff didn’t and itwas a really bad experience. It’s to be expected after Covid that service at any place isn’t going be top notch and it’sexcusable to a certain degree. This was beyond terrible. Our waiter never explained the specials or encouraged to order anydrinks which is a usual welcomed practice. He did ask if we wanted any appetizers and we asked if the bisque had any ham or porkproducts as we don’t eat that. He came back about 10 minutes later to take our order and I asked him what about the bisque? Hesaid he forgot and would go ask. After another 10 minutes he came back and said no pork in the bisque. We ordered 2 cups and all4 of us ordered our meal. After about 15 minutes my husband had to ask him as he walked by if he could take our menus off thetable. Only 1 time did a bus boy come to refill our waters. It was not at all busy as this was lunch time. The kitchen serverbrought our lunches and also brought the bisque which were bowls not the cups. We told the server to take the bisque back as wewere waiting for that before our meal not with the meal. The waiter forgot everything repeatedly, we had to ask for more water,pepper. Then to top it all off you we had a 3% fee on top of the worst service we ever had! We started out with drinks. I got the raspberry Cosmo. My boyfriend got the Apple martini. Both were really good but he doesn't... like sugar on the rim of the glass like that, so I drank them both. As we do at most restaurants, we started out with calamari.This I have to say was the best calamari we have had at any of the restaurants we have gone to. Outside super crispy, insideperfect texture. Now to our food. I got the porterhouse with the horseradish crust. He got the Prime rib. The horseradish cruston my steak was way too much. It overpowered the taste of the steak. I ended up removing it off my meat. As you can see, theprime rib was overcooked. I actually asked if they had brought him the right food because it looked like a steak. Not tender inany way. The pictures say it all. His prime rib doesn't even look like prime rib. We decided against dessert. Service was onthe slow side. Our server said she was going to get us bread and 10 minutes later still had not come back. It continued that waythroughout the visit. The ambiance was nice. I really love their food, everything is great in portions and delicious food. We had the baked goat cheese dip and fried... calamari for appetizers. The dip was a huge hit, it was so good it was the first time i tired it too. I highly recommend it.For dinner i tried their pork chops and it was delicious! Definitely will have it again. Reason being for the one star is thedownside was the service, our waitress was very passive aggressive and was just rude. There was six of us and we had multipleconversations going on and got side tracked and everytime she kept coming to our table she was just coming off rude andagressive. I mean at one point when she came she asked of we were ready to order and i asked for a few more minutes and she madea comment about my cousin saying, "looks like she isnt ready she hasnt stopped talking since she got here." From that commentforward, it went downhill with the service. It just seemed she was annoyed by us. Towards the end of the night at one point ikept looking up and noticing an employee what seemed to be him taking a photo of us. I saw it happen twice and it looked veryobvious too. Super uncomfortable and not sure why it was done. We might have over stayed our stay but this shouldn't have beenthe service we should receive. Staff and service was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food we had was delicious. On this day, we each... other the strip steak sandwich and we were extremely happy with with. I even tried their cottage fries and these weresurprisingly very good. Their regular fries are good too. Read more
This is a really nice wildfire location. The service is top notch. I went here recently for a meal with coworkers and they were... able to accommodate our whole group. For dinner, I ordered a rib eye with fries and a glass of wine. The steak was slighlty overmedium which was a bit of a let down as was the seasoning! It was kind of bland, and I expected more. The fries were ok, butnothing special. The pinot I had was good. For dessert I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream which was amazing. Just asI remembered the last time I had it! Read more
