Went in for lunch, brought my wife and son, her and I were hungry, the boy wanted none. We order a combination, catfish and the... chicken, hushpuppies and the slaw, man was it finger licking. Luckily we split it, too much for one to take, took some of ithome, even then it was just as great. Geneva was our server, truly a fantastic find, we all agreed to go back, to have her takecare of us one more time. Her smile was infectious, her knowledge was top of the line, suggestions were perfect, and deliveredright on time. I ordered the broiled flounder with a potato and garden salad. The fish was so flavorful and good! I loved it. The baked... potato was good and creamy and piping hot. My favorite side was the salad, they make their own dressings! The Thousand Islandwas tangy and so yummy. I was just really impressed with all aspects of our lunch yesterday. Can't wait to go back! You are greeted with smiling faces and friendly people from the moment you walk in. The menu is rather cheap for the quality of... food you receive. The whole catfish is usually my go to, or the jumbo shrimp. Being born in Maryland I am very picky about mycrab cakes but decided to give them a go since everything else here has always been great. The crab cakes were large, verycrispy on the outside and moist and full of crab flavor on the inside. The jumbo shrimp were great as always and the catfishfillets nicely battered, and seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper.
