Super nice staff and management. Food was very good. Not really a fan of the haddock chowder — too light for my taste but the... haddock sandwich was very good. Wifey had the lobster and it was a fabulous first experience for her in Maine. Read more

We loved everything about this place. Our server Cassidy was a gem, getting us the last drop of chowder and saving us cheesecake... for dessert! This was hands-down the best Negroni I’ve had in who knows AND my husband and I can’t remember better fish andchips. The PB&J wings…? Whoever came up with that recipe deserves a medal. Simply scrumptious. Read more

Amazing food ! But - the photos on Google map of menu selection were not on the menu (scallops for example) I loved the Filet... mignon topped with crusted blue cheese and just enough mashed potatoes! James had the summer salad with extra lobster - amazingtoo! A very kind bartender and Dianne was quite a character ! Loved our evening (even though I had to return my steak… theycertainly accommodated me!) Read more

Fantastic dinner. The fish and chips plate was awesome. We also had the 1/2 chicken plate. The drinks we had were very good... too!!! Only thing that seemed odd was the lack of seafood on the menu. We had no problem finding something to eat, but beingcalled Whale's Tooth, we thought thereight have been more seafood. Please don't take as a negative. The staff, dinner, appetizers, drinks and dessert were all AWESOME! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Camden/Lincolnvillearea! Read more

This place does not disappoint. We went with the intention of going all out. Apps, drinks, entrees and desserts. Every course... was very good and presented beautifully. My wife and I work in fine dining and the kitchen here is phenomenal. Very good mealswith a very welcoming and casual pub style aesthetic. There is a reason this place has been around hundred years. Will be backagain! Read more

Absolutely EXCELLENT! To begin, the ambiance & views at the Whale’s Tooth pub are unmatched. We were seated on their upper... deck with beautiful views of the water accompanied by the most delicious seasonal cocktail (the early harvest rhubarbmargarita). The experience only got better and better with each round of food that we ordered: General Tso’s cauliflowerbites, the Falafel bowl, and last but not least the Beef nachos which are a MUST order! The nachos were served on top of acheese covered flour tortilla which was delicious. Everything was not only 10/10 but was also presented in such a gorgeous andprofessional manner! This is not your average pub experience, the owners go above & beyond to cater to customers. Absolutelyloved it here & highly recommend especially if you are traveling on route 1 and looking for a delicious meal! Read more

We recently had a date night at the Whale’s Tooth and really enjoyed our time there. The French onion soup is PHENOMENAL. I... had the seafood risotto (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and my husband had the fish and chips which he really enjoyed! They do takereservations so, just for your own peace of mind you may want to utilize that! Read more

Visited the area from out of town during “off season” and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! We loved it so much... we ate dinner here both days we were in town! The atmosphere was lovely and there was even live music on Saturday night. Themenu didn’t have a ton of items that we would necessarily choose but my husband and I both absolutely LOVED the ButtermilkFried Chicken Sandwich (we are from the south so a bit of fried chicken snobs + this was superb fried chicken!) and theShrimp/Sweet Potato/Bacon Chowder! The chowder I felt was very reasonably priced even if the sandwich was a bit pricey. I wish Icould’ve brought some of the chowder home with me it was so delicious! I also enjoyed the style fries they served with thesandwich. The large fireplace is hard to miss and is so nice and cozy! Definitely request a table by the fireplace if you can :)also recommend reservations through Open Table. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Love the live music, the fireplace, Iknow there would be a wonderful ocean view during the daytime, and I felt the Shrimp/Sweet Potato/Bacon Chowder was not onlydelicious but also a reasonable price. I wish there was more food variety with some less expensive food options but the servicewas good and I appreciated them being open even during “off season”! Will definitely come back for the chowder when wereturn to visit :) Read more
