Taste good service could be better

Good tasting and fresh food! Fairly prices and fast delivery.
The service at the restaurant has changed since I started going to Linden Kitchen 3 years ago. I used to be able to order... variations of what was on the menu. I could ask for brown rice instead of white rice. Or ask for some tofu to be added to thebroccoli and garlic sauce. The cooks and the person (usually a woman) at the register understood and were polite. This pastSaturday I asked for brown rice instead of white rice. The woman at the register pointed to where brown rice was on the menu. However, she did not understand that I wanted to substitute it for the white rice. She could not understand anything I said. Instead she just pointed to the items. Which would be ok if you just wanted to order by the numbers and not have a littlevariation. I walked out. If the restaurant has changed policy, regarding the ability to make a substitution or request avariation, that should be stated on the menu. It should be communicated by someone who can speak English fluently. I gave twostars because the food is still good, but the staff is not showing any thought in who they put at the register and to take theorders. Read more
