Overall, nice little place for some decently priced breakfast staples. It hasn't been open too long it seems and with that said,... some of the comments about being patient really do ring true. It wasn't that busy when we got there Sunday around 830am. Ashleywas our server and she did well. The rest of her crew helped top off coffee and they all made sure things were good throughoutour meal. Overall, they were kind and on top of everything. The wait for food was probably longer than I would have liked butagain be patient because the food was good. I had an order of the chile relleno omelette with a side of hash browns. Also, Iordered a short stack on the side. With the omelette and hash browns alone I got full. Omelette was well made with the outsidebeing nicely textured and the inside being almost cream like. All the incorporated veggies and cheese made it all come together.For the price, things really were good overall. We would eat here again. Read more
Second visit to the cafe since the opening 1-2 months ago and I was not disappointed. This little hidden gem is tucked away on... US-45 with great ambiance and a family-friendly atmosphere. Great lighting, decor, and ample space for couples, small, andmedium size groups. The kitchen is open style, delectable aromas, and the food is freshly prepared to order. My food was greatand the SERVICE was amazing. It is refreshing to be in an establishment where everyone looks like they enjoy being at work. Ilove the teamwork and collaboration from the front end team members (hostess, waitress, etc) they assisted regardless if youwere seated in their area. I would highly recommend Eggspress Lindenhurst for breakfast/brunch. AND they recently added MimosaFlights to the menu -- a must try. Various flavors. Note: Fairly new business. So glad to see another option for breakfast in the area! Has the typical breakfast options (omelette selection is the most... varied) and seemed to do them well. We had the Chicken Fajita omelette, Nutella crepes, Mickey Mouse pancake, and waffles.Everything came out fresh, quickly and tasty. I would take advantage of the place being new (business still building) and goingon a weekday when it's prob not super packed like on the weekends so that you can get your food fast; breakfast places alwayseventually get so packed. Seems like it's not bustling with tons of staff (you can see the kitchen) so perhaps that may explaina slower wait for some in the reviews and the lack of phone number for ordering out, but hopefully that changes as the placegets on it's feet. There is outdoor seating in the back (I didn't take a look but my husband asked), there are indoor tablesspaced out a bit more if you're looking for some degree of social distancing, an extra large community table if you're a verylarge group, and easy parking.
