I am giving Chateau La Mer a 3 stars. I attended a wedding reception there on 10/9. The food was excellent but the dishes and... utensils were nasty. For a upscale banquet hall like this, the plates, utensils and napkins should be clean with no food andwater stains. As for the coffee cups, they were disgusting. So nasty with coffee stains rim. I asked for a new set ofutensils, the server said that they would be to the table, but it never came. Read more

The event coordinating staff doesn't communicate well at all. They respond to calls/emails over a week late. They day of my... wedding they're gonna tell me I didn't pay something when I confirmed the week before. The floor plan wasn't exact and theydon't follow instructions well. It's a great family owned business and a great view but poor event staffing that can't holdthemselves accountable. As the bride, I shouldn't have to fix their mistakes. Taylor needs to get it together, justunacceptable. Otherwise, everything else was great!!! Read more

After postponing 3 times due to unforeseen circumstances - my bride and I had an amazing experience last year at our wedding... reception. The guests could not stop raving about the view and decor, the team listened to every single detail. I could not haveasked for a better night. Anything we needed during the night of and asked your staff for assistance with - they were there tohelp every step of the way. We enjoyed the food and heard from guests how great it was as well. We started wedding planning in2019 but due to Covid and unforeseen circumstances our wedding took place in 2021. The team was there every step of the way tohelp through such a stressful period of time and on the day of, made me truly appreciative of everything they did leading up tothe reception. Huge shout out to Taylor, who we worked very close with on decor and overall logistics, Yama and the entire teamas well. Read more

My cousin had her wedding there over the weekend. The location was beautiful and the maitre?d were the only positive things, I... could say about the venue. She was the only one out of the entire staff that seemed like they cared about the event. The managerTaylor said that she would be there the night of but only came in after multiple guest complaints and demands of her coming in.Now she is saying that there was nothing wrong, there were no ants in the drinks and nothing was wrong. Why would you give usbottles of liquor on the way out and say this is for our mistake and we are so sorry that it happened? The other workers wereterrible. You could tell they all hated their jobs. Attitudes given by them if you asked them for anything.They made multipleerrors when it came to food and service and the food was nothing to write home about. The chicken was dry and the bread was hardas a rock. The cocktail food was decent but nothing over the top amazing. The bartender and bridal attendant took shots whileon duty at the bar. With the liquor for the wedding. The service was not up to par for what you pay. When you pay a smallfortune for a venue, you shouldn?t be served two trays of fruit and ritz crackers and cheddar cheese. when you come in and askfor a drink you shouldn?t be told that the bar isn?t open yet., but I?ll see what I can do. I?ve lived in Lindenhurst my wholelife this place used to be great. It?s a shame to see how the service and food went downhill .There are so many great venues tohave your wedding at on Long Island. Awful, awful, awful. Anyone saying this place is good is lying. The service was terrible, the food was even worse, they even got... the menu wrong. They forgot the vegetarian dish and offered Pork chops ( maybe they think Pork is a vegetable ) which were notrequested. But I guess for $200 a plate they decided this was acceptable. Most people got something they did not order. Also thefood was either overcooked or undercooked and when they needed to cook more food they said the chef had left for the day, so wewaited for another cook ( I won?t even call him a chef) to come in. Some people waited over an hour to get a new plate of awfulfood which they took home to feed their dogs. The servers dropped full treys of food on the floor and were clueless of what theywere doing. I complained to the Maitre d? and she apologized and said the help was all new . This seemed to me to be theirproblem but obviously it became mine. If you listen to them the janitor was the one responsible for all problems and the bosseswere great. This is ridiculous as the help is the same everywhere you just need to train them and oversee what they are doing.They simply don?t get it. The last straw was the cream for the coffee curdled but I guess the janitor must have bought it. I?msure this place will sell out or go out of business. I called the board of health, bugs in some drinks and lipstick stains onthe table napkins and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They ruined a very special day for my son and hisbride and should be held accountable. No stars just a dying business. Read more

This pier in Lindenhurst is very unique for us. Once we lived here in Lindenhurst back in 1998-2001. Still come back here to... enjoy the water and breeze during summer. Everyone will enjoy once they visit the area. Good place to eat nearby. Patsy Italianbakery is in the main village area near the LIRR Station. Read more

I had my daughter bridal shower in August 2021 everything was perfect . The room, the stuff and the management was all... perfect. We had a sit-down dinner the food was delicious all my guests enjoyed it . Thanks Chateau La Mer Read more
