Always decent food. Feels like we're on vacation for dinner. Great tropical atmosphere.
Food is great but to wait 45 minutes after ordering when place was not busy is unacceptable
Wait staff had outstanding server quality. Very friendly and always around for assistance. Nachos were ehhh. Quality of nachos... made them quickly turn soggy on the bottom. The additives didn't have a great taste. Ordered the Beer breaded fish. It was hugeand was good. Cooked golden. Fries ehhh. Almost shoestring style, but not quite. Heard the steak sandwich was good too. Themissing star was no fault on the cooks and definitely not the service, just the quality of the fries and the nachos. Nice place, nice outside seating next to dock on the canal, nice atmosphere, nice service. BUT for the food, the most... important part imo, and for a "wing" place im expecting great wings. Every place sells wings these days BUT Hurricane Wingsshould be serving the best since wings is in their name, BUT I don't think so. We asked for crispy BUT they were not crispy, too bad. We even told the owner(hence the 2-less stars) he gave us a long song and a dance about why they weren't crispy; thefryer oil temp, the cooks idea of crispy, the amount of time it is cooked, the age of the oil, etc. All valid reasons Butwhat does that have to do with us not getting what we ordered? How about the owner saying sorry or let me do them over for you, or even let me get you something else. Any and all would have gone a long way, definitely would have brought us back. We onlyhad the wings and a couple drinks BUT will say just give them a try, lot's of nice selections on their menu we didn't try, hopefully you will have better luck than us. Read more
We always have a great time and a great meal at Hurricanes. The ginger/garlic sauce for the wings is our favorite. The burgers,... sandwiches and tacos are all amazing. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick but not rushed. They have a greatselection of beers and fun cocktails. I only ever have one complaint and it's with their salsa. Otherwise I love everything! Read more
Everytime it's awesome! The atmosphere, character and staff are all wonderful. A great spot to eat on the water. Food is... always good and affordable. You can eat outside by the water, at the bar inside or get a booth and watch a nearby TV. It's mygo to spot and lately the Hangover burger been my go to meal. As far as mixed cocktails I only order the coco carribean. It'sso good. The whole vibe of the place keeps me coming back. Read more
If you are in the area, and looking for a burger or wings, Hurricane is a decent option. There is sometimes inconsistency with... the food depending on how busy they are. However, the food is usually good and the views are great. Decently priced and nicesized portions. Outdoor seating available. Conveniently located. Read more
