Right away waitress seemed annoyed we didn't want drinks (just water). We had french soup, ceaser salad and the steaks were... amazing. Manager came by to ask about our experience which was nice. Waitress asked if there was an occasion (I said her bday).Waitress seemed good and said she would give us something. Great. She asked us if we wanted dessert (too full and she was backto annoyed). Never did get anything from her which didn't sit right with me. She should have not said anything. The differencein attitude would have been a $5. Dollar extra tip. Dance place. Nice though. Service was great - very pleasant and helpful server. Although think they might be short of staff as everything took sooo long... to come. For the price - not impressed with the quality of their steaks or the items on the plate - they were Luke warm andboring - mushrooms from a can? Okay, but will take the time to make my own rib steak at home rather than return. Read more
Husband & I went for dinner tonight. Rib dinner had overcooked dried out cold fries. Onion soup was not good, had strange taste,... not what I expected. No breaded shrimp, which was on the online menu, but the menu in restaurant was different. I had shrimp inbeer sauce, but again, tasteless & bland. For $90+ we were not impressed. A female owner came to talk to us about our meal, butdid not seem to care & made excuses for the food/chef. No compensation offered, or apologies. We won't be back. Read more
Who knew there is something even better than teriyaki sauce on a chicken stir fry with rice?! I don't know what it was but it... was fabulous! When I was too full to continue eating, my husband dipped his nice steak in the sauce of my dish. I'm tellingyou if we could have poured the leftover sauce in a glass, we would have! Cesear salad to start was very tasty. My friend'spasta was lovely and my husband's steak was great too. Our waiter was super nice and perfectly attentive. He was helpful inassisting us with suggestions and answering our questions. He even paid attention when I said "one fork" with my dessert so asnot to have to share .. c'mon they could've ordered their own dessert if they wanted it ... LOL. This was my first visit to Hobart's in Lindsay and it was a really great first impression. The food was delicious and the... service was wonderful. Our waitress was really great, all the staff were attentive. We both had steak and they were cookedperfectly. We will be back. Read more

We had our annual Christmas get together with friends at Hobarts on Saturday December 3. The steaks were cooked to perfection!... We had roasted potatoes and fresh vegetables including an excellent Caesar salad. Yes they have romaine lettuce!. We tried thecheese appetizers and they were delicious. We found some room in our dessert stomach to have some New York cheesecake coveredwith brandied berries drizzled with chocolate. Yum! The service and attention from the new Owners made our experience topnotch. I can?t wait for another excuse to visit Hobarts again really soon. Read more
