The staff are quick, personable, and helpful. The menu is *extensive*, there is something for everyone, even the pickiest eater... at your table. One half has more of a sports bar vibe, and the other half is more traditional restaurant booth style. It has amodern aesthetic, and high tech, with televisions in the booths. Read more

Food was delicious and service was great. First time visiting and was not one bit disappointed. Everything on the menu sounds... great. My recommend is the carrot cake cheese cake. Mind blown! Read more

Went with a party of 4. Nice atmosphere, but a bit loud. TV installed within our booth. Somewhat disappointing that they didn't... offer the preset 3-course dinner that is displayed on their website, but the regular menu has tons of options. Coconut shrimpappetizer was fantastic! Rack of lamb dinner was excellent, with a perfect Greek potato side. Tzatziki was thick and flavourful.Blushing lobster pasta was good. They were able to switch the rose sauce to an Alfredo sauce without any trouble. Lots of tendershrimp. Lobster was a bit overcooked and rubbery, but not too bad. Angry Salmon was really good overall. Beef Stuffed Yorkshirewas disappointing and had an odd aftertaste. Roast beef wasn't very tender. Service was excellent! Definately worth a try and Iwould love to try some other menu options upon another visit. Read more

Was recommend by a friend.. So was exited for a real nice meal. Greeting at the door was great .. was busy so had to wait for a... clean table. Ordered friend ordered rib and wing combo and I ordered steak and lobster. Waitress was friendly and quick ,however didn?t ask about the sides we wanted. Ok presentation Portion was good Lobster was cooked and tasty Steak was terribleno spice , just a rubbery steak with mushroom and onions on top .. ( would not order that again) Chicken and wings were good ,cooked well fries were good and even coleslaw. Price was good but differently pay for what you get in terms of the steak.wouldn?t give it a 5 star on the that. Have to try again maybe Read more

Had dinner here finally now that the scamdemic is over. Service was excellent and fast prices were decent. I had the fish and... chips which i found super greasy and heavy. Poutine was ok. I'd try it again. Creme brulee was yummy and I'd recommend gettingthat for dessert. Read more

So here we are shooting a film in Lindsay and a storm hits us. The not so great HOWARD JOHNSON does not care to have a stand by... generator and its rooms are cold, there is no hot water and whoever heard of candles in a non existent room service? So we foundout that downtown there was still electricity and we headed to the colourful noisy One Eyed Jack. Excellent service, greatliquor and warm. But help! The food was nothing great. I ordered the beef ribs and found it too salty for my taste. But thefrench fries did the job of filling the stomach. My friends too ordered several dishes and the Pad Thai was the best food therewith the chicken strips running a close second. Hey great people. Could you ask please if people like to down themselves insalt? It's a small thing to do? Read more

We ordered takeout here for the first time today. Mmmm mmmm glad we did. Well worth the money. Amanda, the staff told me food... would be ready in 20 minutes, I got there exactly as my timer went off, and the food was ready and piping hot! We ordered thelamb souvlaki, chicken souvlaki, and calamari. Delicious and very generous cuts of meat and large portions. The calamari wasamazing as well. While I was in the restaurant I could see the environment was like something from a bigger city and not aquaint little town 1 hour from Toronto. Very clean and polished - not even so much a pub, but more a family restaurant. Theowner, who I believe is named Dinesh (read a news article a few weeks ago in which he was interviewed) was also on site tonightand was overseeing some work being done near the front reception desk. I also heard a rumour that there will be another, fancierrestaurant coming to Lindsay, overseen by Dinesh. Looking forward to visiting One Eye Jack some more in the future for ourfamily?s ?Friday Night Eat-Out/Takeouts? or celebrations with my family and friends. Pics of our dinner tonight. Read more

When I heard that the Grand Experience in Lindsay was closing, I was very upset, and I had no real hope of anything good... replacing it. I'd never heard of One-Eyed Jack until I saw the sign at the restaurant, so my girlfriend and I thought we wouldgive it a try. As soon as I walked in, I was absolutely blown away by the renovations. It looked more impressive than I candescribe with my own words, with TVs all over the place, a gorgeous bar, and a huge variety of seating areas (some of which hadtheir own miniature TVs inside them!). When we were seated, our waitress (Grace), took our drink orders then our meal ordersshortly after. I got the Grand Slam burger with fries, and my girlfriend got the Veggie burger with onion rings. When we got ourfood, it looked just incredible. The portions were huge and the quality was great. Hands down one of the best burgers I've everhad. When we ordered dessert shortly after, it came out just minutes after we'd ordered it, much faster than we'd expected, andmuch to our liking. Throughout the whole experience, Grace (our waitress), was just definitely one of the best waitresses I'veever had. Her customer service was amazing, whether it was serving us or just talking to us, she made the experience even betterthan we ever would have expected. We will definitely be back, and I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone around. Thanks againfor everything! Read more
