We sent for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside on the patio. Decent food but great service. We had nachos, the... brisket sandwich and fish and chips. The food was good but will definitely return to try some other stuff. My partner wasn't thebiggest fan of the brisket sandwich. The craft beer was good and it's all on tap and a nice selection. This place was exactly what I was looking for. The decor the atmosphere and the very cool exposed brick with painted murals is... an awesome establishment to have an amazing dinner with family. We couldn't have asked for better service. Our waitress wasexceptional and helped us with what we needed. The Pie Eyed Monk is a place I am recommending to friends and family and I willdefinitely come again when I'm back in town. Thank you to the owner and staff for everything. First time at the monk. Building was really nice, fairly old with some renovations. Saw number of families eating (always a good... sign). Staff was amazing and helpful on recommendations. Beer was tasty, the first response and cranberry lager stood out asgreat. Got the cranberry to go, large grower was great price. Friends really enjoyed it at a cottage. Will be back. Read more
Our dinner date at the Pie Eyed Monk could not have been more perfect! This was our first visit and we were so pleased with... every aspect of our experience. The ambience and very easy entry was a great start with having mobility issues. We were seatedin a nice area by a very pleasant hostess. The service was excellent from the first glass of ice water to the full meal! Ourselections were exceptional. The Ragu pasta and fish and chips were simply delicious! We enjoyed every course so very much. TheBrownie with the beer caramel sauce is not to be missed! So tasty! This was our first visit but certainly will not be our last. Can’t wait to join you again! Pie Eyed Monks is another fantastic experience in the downtown core of Lindsay Ontario. They offer a fantastic menu, Great... service, Craft Beers and an excellent atmosphere for all occasions. If it's date night, family dinner or just a night out withyour friends, this is a place you don't want to pass up! They also probably have the best Ceaser in town ! And the pizza is topnotch! We ordered a smoked pull pork garden salad and a bacon cheese burger with oatmeal stout( dark craft beer). The food was great,... the beer was just okay.. a bit blend. overall the atmosphere and staff were great and friendly. I’d love to come back insummer to enjoy the patio. Read more
Stumbled across this place on a recent Sunday drive in the region. It is now a destination place. Utterly unexpectedly happily... fantastic. Creative and delicious menu, modern hipster cool decor and warmly welcoming ambience with lovely helpful positivestaff. A really terrific place.
