Nice Pub in Lindsay with friendly service, good food, easy parking and a great atmosphere. We tried a number of appetizers... including mozzarella sticks, potato skins, wings and nachos. The wings are half price on Saturdays between 12-3 and the nachosare HUGE! Will definitely go back; they have a good sized menu so want to try a few more things including their 8 oz. burger. Very relaxing atmosphere, quick service with an extensive menu to choose from. Our waiter was very outgoing and made use feel at... home and was attentive to our needs. Our meals came out in a timely fashion and everyone enjoyed theirs. I believe you wouldenjoy the Cat and the Fiddle. Read more
We have been here three times and have been happy with the service. Servers are knowledgeable about the menu, considered and... friendly. The food is good and the alcohol drinks are tasty. The prices are fair for the portions you receive. So far I onlyhave one complaint and that is about the potato skins. The amount of sour cream that is served with that dish is not enough.When you ask for more you have to pay extra. We are looking forward to our next visit. Read more
We stopped here by chance, after just moving to the area and we were pleasantly surprised by this busy and bustling very popular... restaurant! Great spot for a cold drink on a hot day, and even better for their large and absolutely DELICIOUS menu. The foodis prepared perfectly and arrives at your table piping hot ????. We thought that because it was so busy that the food may notget the attention to detail, or may not be as great as it normally would be...NOPE! The food is fresh, hot, and incrediblytasty!! Also very large portions and prices you can't beat! Personally I'll be returning for the home town feel, and wonderfulservice from all the staff including the owner!! Locally owned by the most amazing lady who instantly makes you feel like youhave just walked into your "hometown" pub. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better ????. If I could give 10 starsI would. Ordered the bangers and mash with fresh peas and homemade maple baked beans. The gravy on this dish is amazing at 1st thought it... was too much but after the 1st bite I realized more is definitely better! My food came out super hot and my partner had theprime rib special and ate every last bite. Very busy place, the 2 of us got in because there was a last minute cancelation andthat was at 5pm, so call ahead to make that reservation! We decided to go for dinner there at the spur of the moment. Despite the fact that restaurant was fully booked for that evening,... Lisa went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our waitress Laura was phenomenal. Both ladies made us feel comfortable and athome. We enjoyed food selection and our drinks. Great ambience and welcoming, friendly stuff. We definitely will be back.
