New to Lindsay and was craving fish and chips. I've been meaning to check this place out and it did not dissapoint! I knew it... was going to be bomb because it was wrapped in newspaper. I got the halibut combo with the jalapeno shrimp and it was delicious.My boyfriend had the halibut and chips. Nice big portions. Can't wait to go back! Read more
Excellent quality fish & chips. Placed a take out order by phone and it was ready in 10 minutes. Service was friendly and very... helpful. The food was amazing, a dinner meal with full piece haddock, chips and coleslaw. The batter is light and airy and thefish excellent quality. The oil must be kept fresh because there was no aftertaste. Highly recommended - I?ll be back for sure. Read more
This place is so cute! The decor is very interesting and of course the fish was really good.
This restaurant has a very warm and cozy feel inside and the exterior is quite charming. To place an order you read the menu at... the front and pay before sitting - the food is brought over when it's ready. Overall, the fried food had good taste at goodvalue! We got the haddock combo (1 haddock, a TON of fries, jalapeno shrimp, and coleslaw) with battered mushrooms on the side.The combo portions are quite large - it was a lot of food for one person especially being heavy fried food, we managed to shareone combo between 3 people. Another friend got the halibut combo which comes with 4 pieces of fish - which would be a betteroption for sharing. It would have been useful to know how many pieces of fish came with our combos in advance from the menu.Everything served in good time, and tasted fresh. I would have liked the shrimps more if they were actually spicy but that's nota huge set back. The seating was rustic (we sat on wooden booths), but not terribly comfortable to sit on for a long time. Read more
We were passing by Lindsey and had to check this place out due to how great the rating is. First of all the atmosphere was... amazing. Very British, feels like I'm in UK. Food was amazing, fish was very flavorful and very crispy. And the service was toonotch! And not to mention the price was very reasonable. Read more
Awesome UK style fish and chips, been going here for over 25 years. If you want to experience Fish and chips like they do in... England than this is the place for you. Reasonably priced and they offer mushy peas too!!! Read more
