Food is always good. When I come here always get some BBQ. This time was disappointed. Started with my coke to go having coke... run out the top and down the side. Ask for napkins to clean it off. I was given 1 napkin which soaked quickly. Oh well I dealtwith it. I get to my room there is nothing to eat my food with and my okra is soggy. Not even 1 more napkin. I was here 2 years ago and wasn't impressed. My how things have changed. The sliced brisket had a nice smoke ring and generous... portions. The sausage was from Muenster and excellent. Friendly staff, I'll definitely be back. Read more
We tried the 3 meat plate with ribs, brisket and German sausage.
My husband and I where passing through and decided to stop and have lunch... Glad we did it was excellent... Great prices and... wonderful service... Excellent country pit bbq. Turkey and German sausage were fantastic. Fast, friendly service. Best onion rings I've had anywhere.
Stopped there for a late lunch on a Sunday but there were a surprising number of people so I figured the good reviews were... deserved. I was not disappointed. The server was friendly and made great suggestions, even bringing me a same of their Germanpotato salad to try. I tried it and it was very flavorful so I had it as a side to go on my 3 meat BBQ plate. The sliced briskethad a great smoky flavor, the turkey was excellent, and the German sausage was very good too. The BBQ sauce was the perfect mixof sweet, savory, and spicy with just a hint if a kick to it. The other person in our party ordered a Sirloin steak that wasseasoned well and perfectly cooked to the right internal temperature, but with a slight char on the outside. Whoever cooked itknew what they were doing! We will definitely eat there again. Read more
