I am so impressed with the food and service at this McDonald's. It mimics the excellent standards observed at the Forest Lake... location, which begs the question: does the same person own these two franchises? Really though, the burgers are always warm,look appealing and don't have grease dripping from them; and the prices are actually fair when using the deals in their app,especially when using the app on two phones to place two separate orders. Check your burgers before you drive off. Apparently the staff gets hungry while in the drive-thru.
I really abhor posting negative reviews, however, my overall experience today was nothing shy of a complete and total train... wreck. I understand and can relate to the situations restaurants are facing these days, but it's very discouraging to set in theoutside drive through lane at the order screen while no less than eight cars ordered and pulled up in the inside lane, before Iwas even acknowledged. Sadly to top it all off all I wanted was a simple cup of coffee. After I finally ordered I received 3/4of a cup of warm coffee and no Splenda like I had requested and was displayed on the order screen. Finally the bonus was mycoffee was 50% more than I pay at my local McDonald's. I was gonna pick up the order for the folks behind me but by the time Iwas able to order I was so hot under the collar from waiting that my charitable thoughts had passed me by. I would like tomention that I go to the McDonald's in Wyoming, MN a few times a week for coffee and food over the last few years and theirservice, staff and food has always been excellent. I have never once had a wrong order and they usually have your fresh foodhanging out the window before you even get pulled up from paying and are always courteous and greet you with a smile. So as prices of your food goes up, the quality and reliability should follow. However your prices go up and everything else... drops. Today I ordered a large #1, I get out onto the road again and reach for what should be a large fry, instead I pull out amedium fry container with roughly the amount of fries that would be maybe a small fry and they were cold. I don?t have time toturn back and get in line which is why drive thru quality control is lacking, it banks on people using drive thru due to timeconstraints. I proceed back toward work since this is just a lunch break, and when I get there I take my fry picture right awayand eat because I guess it?s still edible, open my Big Mac and find that it is super sloppy in its construction? Might as wellhad been and open faced sandwich. I manage to put it back together finding that hell even when it was made the burger pattiesweren?t hot since the cheese wasn?t even melted? eat my mediocre over priced meal and write this review. I ordered it without cheese and you?d think it would be fully cooked with how many burgers they cook a day.
6/24/2021.I was working in the area, when I decided to stop for lunch around 12,I was taking some pictures that I needed to... upload to the system in my laptop,it take me more time of what I was expecting... 45 minutes later, a Yung American guy withburgundy uniform, headset working with the name Zach,look like he was taking the orders for drive-thru, drive-thru it wasbusy,and I was the only one seated in the lobby, he took 5 minutes of his time to approach me and tell me "sr if you are notbuying anything I am going to ask you to leave ". It's funny how he take 5 minutes to kick me out and didn't take a singlebeverage cup from all dirty tables in the lobby, 5 minutes later I got up look all those dirty tables and decided that I wouldnot eat in such a dirty place.. I had a good waitress that checked on us, got us if needed refills, brought our food in a timely fashion and friendly.
